well igot a clevo (XXODD) m860tu notebook and im expriance loads of problem... like ksod/bsod/audio-loop/mem error/prompt reboot have intel p9500 and gf 9600mgt some one has same probs? and fixed? plz reply then :D
With the AW i got 2000 more points on my 3d06 score, The clevo had the same if not worse heating problems, the screen had flex, and the thing looked and felt cheap. When I had the clevo it was only capable of using the 9800m gt also, or u sure your not getting the m860tu confused with the m865tu?
I installed my own Hdd and memory, the rest of the components are equal if not better than the generic clevos.
Actually, this laptop had a 9800m GT in it. And also, I only had this laptop for about a week before I sent it back, I am now happy with my Alienware m15x, and it smokes the Clevo M860TU in every single way. :)
Why would the AW smoke the Clevo? The Clevo is cheaper and has better hardware. AW CPUs only run at 800MHz fsb and are desktop CPUs which cause heating issues. Cleveo runs at 1066 MHz FSB and uses laptop processors (significantly less heating issues + extends the life of the laptop). AW uses 667MHz DDR2, far less powerful than the Clevo 1066 MHz DDR3. Not to mention the 1Gb GTX 260m is available for the Clevo, much better than the 512mb 9800 you got. Congratz on your overpriced, weak AW laptop.
I also route for Clevo. What you get is what you pay for. They're well made, reliable (I'm typing this from a 4-year-old clevo that still works, though a bit outdated...), not to mention that for the same money, you get a alot more power than with an AW. Plus, Clevo retailers generally offer a much more personalized/better customer support.

also... If you like Kmart brand computers that's cool, but you shouldn't try to rip others down because of your personal opinions.

1 & 2 : About 1300 euros with T8400, 9800M GTS on A650x1050. Depending of retailers and models.
4. About 1:30. It's a 8 cells
