polar is unlocked by completing the blue gem tournament and you will need to collect all blue CNK coins to do the tournament so thats how you unlock him :)

This game is just like a repaint of Naughty Dog's Crash Team Racing (the last Crash game they did) - the tracks are the same, but with different names and the backgrounds look a little different, I guess (this one is Roo's Tubes, for example). What a rip off. I felt so offended by the lack of effort put into this game. =/

you're right, they made a stupid platform-game character out of crash after Naughty Dog left the project. I've seen some vids about the Crash of the Titans, and I wanted to smack the bastards that changed the look to every single character, specially Aku Aku, that instead of looking like a mask, looks like a damn monkey.
