Just buy a fucking wii lan adapter srry but you don't have a wireless router. Get it wired then it would work.

i had this same problem i could not even set up the wireless network and i know alot about pc's the dongle said i was online but the wii said error code bloody thing is fine for some people and crap for others i emailed nintendo but suprise no answer ever came back so i put the nintendo ds dongle back to the shop.. looks like i will never play mario kart online bastards still love my wii though mario galaxy rocks
