Soviet snipers were hunters and marksmen before entering the army. I have no doubt of their kills. It was probably higher.

As far as I read reason russia started to recruit women snipers is because on average women have better vision than men. Also have better eye hand coordination. Some lady snipers killed hundreds of germans imagine that.

My grandfather (a sniper) said that on a good day a sniper can kill over 35 people with no problem. You know nothing on warfare what so ever. It aint that hard to put crosshairs on someone and pull the trigger,and on the eastern front there were plenty of targets to hit.
