Carl told him that he'd take Squeeze to OGD, but Carl recognized him from a mugshot, knew he was a criminal, and took him to the police station. This is why OGD and Carl are buddies at the end. OGD let him know how much he appreciated the favor.

In real life, Steve, Stefan, and OGD are played by the same actor, Jaleel White.
