  • love filled church? have you ever listened to obamas preacher??????????????

  • coondoggin1979 said "have you ever listened to obamas preacher"

To coondoggin1979, The better question is have you listened to him. No, I think you just hear 10 second sound clips on tv like the rest of the clueless ones.

  • Everyone just ignore chestertonrules. He's not too bright.

  • That's what liberals do best.

    Ignore facts.

  • "rule through deception"

  • The whole modern world has divided itself into Conservatives and Progressives. The business of Progressives is to go on making mistakes. The business of the Conservatives is to prevent the mistakes from being corrected.

    -G. K. Chesterton

  • Democrats like Obama spend taxpayers' money on the most stupid things.

  • 2000 Bush was handed an annual surplus and balanced budget. Nuff said.

  • Jane, please help me understand the disconnect that is happening here. The previous church leader (Rev Wright) made racist, sexist, and anti-America comments. I don't see a whole lot of Christ centered love, or exuberant Christ Centered worship happening. I see a leader that has a desire to further his own agenda (it certainly isn't God's agenda). The pulpit should never be a soap box for spewing this kind of venom. Perhaps you are speaking of another church? Please help me understand. THX

  • You would have not liked the Old Testament prophets either if you lived during that time. They were much harsher.

  • Jane...you obviously go to church there regularly enough to have actually heard wrights comments. do YOU feel that american should be damned by god? and do YOU feel that you have been damned by god????

  • Hi Jane!! question for you!! do you support obama and his stance on killing children that are born alive after a partial birth abortion? Obama WANTS them dead...how do YOU feel about it?

  • Ms. Fisler Hoffman gives a very articulate and credible message concerning Trinity United Church. However when two ministers (Rev Wright); and more recently Rev. Pfleger make sexist and racist remarks peppered with inappropriate language, to a rousing applause from Trinity's parishioners . .what kind of a message does this send the world? My pastor would have been fired and banned from pulpit ministry in perpetuity. We do have to be mindful of the company we keep and the hero's we choose.

  • Barak Supports:

    Socialized Medicine

    Higher Taxes

    Higher Gasoline Prices

    Surrender in Iraq

    Handgun Bans

    Partial Birth Abortion

    Racial Preferences in Hiring

    No THANKS!

  • I think you have it wrong. He supports HIGHER taxes on people making $250,000+ a year. Its not "surrendering" in Iraq, is simply recognizing that we are wasting time, money and lives for a war that shouldnt have ever been authorized. He's not FOR abortion, he is for womens right to choose. He's not FOR higher gas prices, he's for more investment in Alternative fuels that the fat cat republicans want to throw out of the picture. GO OBAMA!

  • Barak supports higher taxes on capital gains which will impact all Americans who own stocks regardless of income.

arakc supports higher taxes on oil companies which will raise gas prices for all of us.

Abandoning our allies in Iraq is surrendering.

He supports not only partial birth abortion but infanticide for babies that survive abortions.

Obama is a typical lying leftist who is too liberal and rich for America. He is an Ivy league snob who is out of touch.

  • Fail.

  • We sure did.

    Pleased?

What government goodie are you hoping for?

  • all of you have really fallen into this very strange, anti-corporation cliche. I can't argue with people like you, whether they are republican or democrat, because every single person who has made a political preference does so in a very unequivocal way. You, along with your adversaries seem to understand only a very small portion of the society and the politic it seems to be governed by. i'm not arguing with your actual points, i'm arguing with against the fundamentals upon which you're based.

  • I have no idea what you are trying to say.

I understand why you don't argue with people.

  • just forget it.

  • Why would you support a racist?

What makes you any different than someone who attends KKK meetings using the excuse that it is a "christian" organization.

Wright does not lead a Christian Church or life.

  • To chestertonrules,

Apparently you missed the point. She doesn't have to rely on sound bytes from fauxnews. As a member, she is in a far better position to know what the church is about than you are.

  • Perhaps she is a liar.

    FACT:

If She attended a Church which proclaimed to be UNASHAMEDLY WHITE and dedicated to its EUROPEAN HOMELAND, you would admit that it is a racist church.

    What is your difficulty here?

  • To chestertonrules,

Black and White are 2 different concepts. Europeans were the ones to start classifying people according to skin color because it made slavery and discrimination easier. They ascribed every negative connotation to it that they could while hiding the "Black" origins of all relevant religious and philosophical thought. Afrocentricity is merely a means of balancing and bringing parity. There are "White" people who are pro-black because they are pro-truth.

  • Black and white are skin colors, not concepts.

All people should be judged as individuals, not as colors.

Those who want to divide America into competing groups, like Obama does, are dangerous.

Democrats need poverty and racism to win elections.

Republicans will benefit when there is no poverty and racism in America, so they support policies to end these afflictions.

Democrats don't want to end racism, they want to use it to win elections.

  • chestertonrules said "Black and white are skin colors, not concepts"

    Wrong!

I haven't seen many people with black or white skin. Human pigmentation runs along a brown hue based on the amount of melanin present. The only factually white person is an albino or leper. When an artist paints a portrait he uses "flesh tones". The colors black and white are not flesh tones. Open your mind kid, you've been fooled like the rest of the common masses.

  • Exactly. Racial divisions are artificial.

Democrats want to exploit these divisions.

You have been spoon fed racial dogma from leftist politicians.

Why should the government make policy based on pigmentation?

Your party supports such divisive policies.

  • This shows that you cannot engage in a discussion based on the merits of someone's positions but rather you need to try to assign positions to them which they do not hold nor did imply. Apparently your reading comprehension is lacking. I don't have a "party". I am far from "leftist". My last vote was for Ron Paul who as some of you might know is a Republican. Just as most "Christians" are not like Christ so do you lack the intellectual comprehension of your screen-namesake, G.K. Chesterton.

  • You have yet to challenge a single point I've made.

    Try it:

All people should be judged as individuals, not as colors.

Those who want to divide America into competing groups, like Obama does, are dangerous.

Democrats need poverty and racism to win elections.

Republicans will benefit when there is no poverty and racism in America, so they support policies to end these afflictions.

Democrats don't want to end racism, they want to use it to win elections.

  • The fact that you have faith in a political party tell me that you are still among the clueless ones. Democrats and Republicans are different sides of the same corrupt coin.

You said that "people should be judged as individuals, not as colors" well I say people should be judged as individuals, not as their political affiliations. That is why Ron Paul was by far the best candidate for president.

    -

Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes her laws.

    -Mayer Amschel Rothschild

  • It is the left that wants to control our money.

Republicans advocate letting individuals control more of their money.

Democrats want to confiscate a higher percentage of other people's money for their own purposes.

  • You're still stuck in an illusion. I used to stupidly favor Democrats the same way you favor Republicans. If Republicans are so great then America should be a utopia by now after all they had the Presidency, the House, the Senate and a majority on the Supreme Court at the same time. Open your mind kid. I voted for a Republican (Ron Paul) but unlike you I have enough sense to know that the party as a whole is corrupt. I would be curious to know your level of education and profession.

  • Politics is choosing the lesser of two evils.

    Somebody must rule.

Do you want more government or less?

Do you want a strong national defense or less?

Do you support the life of the most defenseless or not?

Do you support freedom of religion or not?

    These are important questions.

  • I've made so many strong points in this thread which could not be refuted therefore each reply by chestertonrules was either a baseless allegation or a repeat of something I had already proven false. And after championing the Republican cause in all his previous posts chestertonrules now says "Politics is choosing the lesser of two evils". YouTube comments are an excellent way to view how intellectually deficient modern Americans are.
