  • The magnet that you have in your hand is a cool magnet!

    The New and Improved Generator

  • @TheRealDealinlife Yes, as I believe I have mentioned, it is a very strong neodymium magnet from a computer hard drive, and has proven quite useful for my experiments.

  • eres muy bueno felicidades

  • You sir, are a genius ^_^

You could stick a crank -u- so that as the wheel spins it will regulate the polarities between north and south... This of course would have to be calculated so that the timing as you said, is perfect. This can be done the way they calculate the RPM's required for alternators. Pulleys. One big wheel and one small, and the small one would be connected to the crank which would switch the hdd magnet between north and south...

Thanks so much for the inspiration ^_^

  • You are welcome for the inspiration, and thanks for the suggestion. As you move forward through the videos you will find that I have addressed similar ideas. What I finally decided upon was actually one of my very first ideas, which is to move the stator poles mechanically, but by repulsive magnetic interactions so as not to diminish the rotational power developed by the magnetic motor. See the "more info" area of video 25 for a link to a demo of the current method. - Rick

  • Can't wait to get there, but I'll watch every step so that I too can play around with this.

  • While at the Archives page of the Pipe Dream website, feel free to download the full Builder's Plans using the link provided. More than 100 pages of step-by-step instructions and photos will ensure an excellent replication of the Pipe Dream prototype. Nothing is left to the imagination. Everything is fully documented and disclosed. I hope you will build this and join the effort, which is looking very promising. - Rick

  • The Roney Stator elements the sticky point of which you say you do not need shielding.

You said that video 5 you demo your device. But there is no demo here. Rather it's only an explanation. To demo it, you will need to fasten the stator down.

  • That's right - no shielding needed here. I AM demononstrating continuous rotation in this video using a MOSTAT (moving stator) technique, and explaining it as well. If you want to see this done with the stator magnet mounted to my stator arm, watch video #13, but the handheld method is just as valid.

  • does anyone realize theres is no point in this whatsoever?

  • That, of course, depends upon whether you are interested in breaking the bonds of energy dependence and enslavement. If you ARE interested, keep watching and the point will become very clear to you if you have an open mind and are willing to accept what is shown.

  • Rick

YES!! I am going to build this

How could I resist ? you are making this so easy to accurately replicate

You are a great humanitarian for sharing this!!

    Chet

Ps I'm away working for another week

This is at the top of my list when I get home

  • Rick, Very cool

Where are you gonna put the brakes?[thats a vote of confidence]

Thanks for taking the time to do this !!

Your a great teacher and skilled craftsmen

    Thanks, Chet

  • Hi Chet, and thanks for the kind words. Are you interested in building this? I hope so, and that is why I am open sourcing this project. Full construction steps and specs are available online at no charge.

  • Rick, Are you dead or what? I really get tired of your videos. And besides that! It's all fake

  • Zaag, if you got tired after watching the first one, why did you watch all five? Sounds like your comments are fake. Everything here is real. Don't believe it? Build it and prove me wrong, if you think you can.

  • I have noticed that the video and audio in my uploads is somewhat out of sync, and apologize for that. The original video was not like that, so appears to get out of sync after processing by YouTube. Any suggestions for getting better results are welcomed.

  • Hi Rick,

Nice looking rig! I think I'll be joining your replication efforts.

The audio sync problem is caused by the audio codec you are using to encode your video. If YouTube doesn't support your particular codec then the audio can become out of sync from the video track. They recommend MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format at 640x480 resolution with MP3 audio.

Keep up the good work and good luck with your next video.

    Steve

  • Hi Steve, and thanks for the vote of confidence. If you are interested in replicating this build, watch video #6 (not up yet) as I will show the web link for my complete instructions.

  • Steve, as you can see - when I pull the HD magnet away from the rotor magnet at 7:06 elapsed time, you hear my "uhhh" 3 seconds later. Way out of sync!

  • My video is 640x480 with 128kbps audio bitrate, and has a mpg file extension. I can reconfigure output to mp4 at 160 kbps, but can I repost the video over this one instead of deleting it?

  • Very nice Rick, I have a similar idea, but using more than one stator magnet. Still waiting for my mags.

    Mike.

  • Hi Mike, glad you have enjoyed this. Yes. you can certainly utilize more than one moving stator magnet with this setup, and can also double the developed thrust by utilizing both sides of the wheel.
