Thanks, I never knew about this and NEED the space. Heard it would work looked it up hear on youtube. Thanks for walking me through it, works perfectly the first time!
help!! i moved my iphoto library to an external hard drive.... I installed iphoto 11. When I try to open my iphoto library it opens up an empty library
I have alot of iphoto libraries that I moved the way you suggested to my external-but im not able to open and view them and upload them the way I can when they are on my laptop in the iphoto folder, where I can view without opening every single picture. im sure its been a mistake of mine as I have learned by trial and error, before I found you. But can you revisit some troubleshooting when files have been incorrectly moved? thanks!
I got a question. iPhoto just makes a copy of your photos so when you delete the photo out of iPhoto it is still on your computer in the Originals folder. and if you want to get rid of a picture completely you have to go to that folder and look for it and all. Is there anyway where you can delete photos out of iPhoto and it delete the original?
Nice information. But in that last minute, when You were realising that one could have or could not have more than one library.
That's my question. I unfortunately have two iMacs and a Mac Bookpro. So that leaves me with three iTunes Libraries. And it would be helpfull to merge them into an external Hard Drive. Hand Picking them all could be an option. But the collection has grown rather large. (126GB, 76GB and 38GB).
can you open the pics on pc?

i would merge them all together on one external as one library.

that's exactly what I did. I found this one little folder hidden in the iTunes root. It says: "automatically add to iTunes"
It solved my little problem.

The first subject in the video -
DVD is already almost last gen in a way - Blu-Ray!, Blu-Ray! (chanting :D)
And HD-DVD (Toshiba) never took off
Well Sony learnt their lesson with BetaMax when you had to buy THEIR player and BetaMax never took off, and VHS was terrible, but it did.
I'm only 15 and I know stuff from the past, past! :)
Nice vid by the way. 5*
