I really love that you say what colors are best suited to certain eye colors, because I NEVER know what will make my eyes pop other than NOT BLUE, since they're blue..

Coastalscents (dot com) has the Pink Deluxe Oval Shadow thats pretty close, and I believe Crownbrush (dot biz) has an oval shadow brush in their Backstage series that are pretty close to 227s.

i love the eye shadows, only problem is when i use it i have a lot of fall out. I used a paint pot from MAC and everything but it still doesn't stick but i still love the colors though =)

Tap your brush before applying to get rid of excess. When I use paint pots, I use an eye primer underneath. I have oils in lids which will cause the ppot to crease otherwise.

I have green eyes, and i have been trying to figure a way to use blue eyeshadows and they just never work for me.. they seem to look much better on brown eyes. :-) I know u werent asking me but thats just my opinion

Yes, I do think it will. The trick is to seperate the blue from your green eyes by creating a thicker liner in black o brown. Blue next to green will over-power or wash out green, so your Green eyes can sometimes look murky. So by lining it with black or dark brown will help.

its mineralized eyeshadows so they can crease specially f you have oily lids, and eyeshadow primer will definitely help on these.

If they are the same color I would say Loreal's would be just as great, because it is very vibrant, it last all day, and it's way cheaper!

There seems to be less gold in your 'Odd Couple' than others I've seen. Does that mean that the proportion of the top 3 colours are not always the same?

yes, not two of the same shadows are alike in that sense, so when you decide to buy a color, just have a look at the striations and pick whichever you like, if you like more gold, then pick the one that has more. I had to choose from 2-3 different 'odd couples' befoe I chose the one I have now.

Have you tried using a paint pot base like painterly or a kohl eyeliner (in like a white or a black) also used as a base??? Somtimes that will help the color to come out a lil more.

you can definitely neutralize the dark skin by using paintpot like iROC suggested. It does makes a big difference.
