Why is this video so jittery?

Is there a screen capture program that will hide the mouse?

I just got screenflick and I think it sucks. I have yet to record a decent video. The sound is off, and no matter how I adjust the settings (FPS-quality-compressor) the movie keeps pausing/skipping and that throws the sound off even more. It is version 1.6 used on snow leopard. I hate it. I used to have Snapz and had NO problems, but I don't wanna pay $70 for that program when I use it to put short workout videos on my iPod so I can bring them to the gym.

i use a big 32 in vizio tv as a computer screen but when i try n do tutorials for people it doesnt come out that good can u help me with this. does the tv b3ing big matter

!!!! to much freezing up always and 50% of the time the aduio is out of sync and when i use my Apple in ear headphones with remote and mic the aduio is always out of sync. Its anoying at least they could try to make it work well. Ill give it that the video looks better than screenflow and it exports so fast its crazzy but other than that its so anoying and its like not even an application you can't even minize the window and haf the time it stays on top of all my other windows!!!!

Thanks so much for this. I downloaded the free version to try but have problems w/the audio track trailing behind/doubling. If it weren't for this, I'd spring for the $30, but cannot justify it w/the audio problem.

Can you recommend a fix?

camstudio for windows is great and can capture hd

I have camstudio the open source version and it's pretty bad, and it records in a weird low quality that isn't compatible with all programs.

@ killer1snoop: That is a little app (well, a pref. pane) called iStat Menus. It is free. It will put thimngs up in your menu bar, but you can remove or put in what you like from the system preferences.

use camtwist (make a desktop view in your effects) and record with your favorite recording program quicktime or whatever using the camtwist source instead of your webcam.
