Oh, i guess my slayer phase back in high school paid off to some extent then =) Funny how patton ended up with dave lombardo. Thanks for the recording tip, ive got a lot of songs i want to do, it looks like this one will be the hardest to hit note for note, with "drunkship of lanterns" by the mars volta in second, ill post them when i get it all scribed out.

Quite good! A couple bits were off, amazingly enough it was all the simple stuff that didnt matter too much compared to the ridiculous parts of the song (theres straight 8ths on the ride for the metal part, but you nailed alot of the really erratic fills so hats off)

How did you mix your drumming over the recording if i may ask? I found this video because im gonna take a stab at this song =) mixing/recording the live kit with a video camera has proved fruitless for me.

Only thing though; the snare groove for the intro seemed a tiny bit off; think you should've made the non-accented ones ghost notes instead of normal ones, it kinda gave it a marching feel that doesn't match the atmosphere. I should check it out, Mr. Bungle is a beautiful band...

Nice drumming, it was pretty accurate during most of the song. One problem I had was the first part of the song on the snare after the saxaphone part, it just didn't sound right to me. In the real version, Danny plays it alot lighter and with accents in stuff.

Overall it was nice. Some parts during the metel part were off, but then again, its probably better then what I could play.
