..haha even though this is just a skit I remember seeing something like this on a documentary about Chinese businesses, apparently new recruits on a weekly basis are insulted & mocked to their face, apparently its supposed to help increase tolerance & productivity and apparently it works very well.

Yeah I read an interview with Webb where he described how he wrote and filmed this sketch and how well it went. Then a few months later, he was watching a DVD of Absolutely and almost had a heart attack when he saw the sketch and realised that he had seen it, forgotten it, and then "written" it about 17 years later lol
