@raidenisawesome09 if im not mistaken, you can buy it after the ice dungeon at links house in the dark world, then take it to the pyramid, then toss your sword in the fairy wishing well. its the well where ya get ya silver arrows

i havent played this one yet but ive beat a link to the past countless times over the years looks awesome i heard you have to have two players to play it or 4 players or sumthing to that effect just what i heard not confirmed

I did this once but got unique music for the Quest Log part of the ending instead of the regular credits music seen here. But, I don't know what I did to trigger the music!

You can glitch into the Palace of the Four Sword by using the Magic Mirror

Yep! I've fought both the 4 Dark Links and the repeat bosses through the Mirror Glitch. Interesting battles but I still pulled through.

Pay 500 Rupees to the big Zora beyond the Potion Shop in the Light World after clearing the Desert Palace to get the Flippers so you can swim. In the area before the place you get the Flippers, there is a waterfall and one of the whirlpools that the big Zora will tell you about. Inside the waterfall you can toss items in, usually to just get it back with a warning not to do it again. Throw in your shield and the Boomerang to upgrade them.

I think the best part of this fight is the fact the purple Link is the strongest of the four...I remember a lot of people saying that purple was a stupid color on LInk. Well, if that was the case, this proved them wrong!

to be more specific: once u have AT LEAST cleared the 6th temple(before the one with the turtle boss), go to the dark world version of your house. there, the guy would be selling a bigger than usual bomb that's going to follow you around until you choose to set it(u can choose to cancel the setting with the same button, which i think is l or r). set the bomb on the crack in the pyramid that u cant break with a normal one, and dip ur tempred sword into the fairy 's pond.

@BlueAshes I did that before and I didn't use the cane that creates a barrier around you. It is hard but well worth the challenge!

You need a special bomb (I think it's called a super bomb) from a certain part of the game. Then you can blow open a crack in the pyramid and get this gold sword.

Sorry if it's not specific enough; it's been a while since I've played this.

Nah, unfortunately you can't. You need at least 2 GBAs, 2 copies of the game, and 1 link cable to play Four Swords.

@batursi now you can with the four sword 25th anniversary version. it's on dsiware(playable on dsi or 3ds) as a free download for a limited time only they'll remove the game in january 2012.

EDIT: I always hated that your sword shot beams that deal piss poor damage and get in the way of your actual swings. I'd always try to hurt myself so it wouldn't happen.

It was a basket for collecting extra stuff in LttP. I think you unlocked it by getting 10 of those medallion things in four swords, but I could be wrong... it's been so long since I unlocked that.

@zallard1 15 medallions actually, n then u have to use ur net to collect 10 objects which u must solve with little riddles, 4 doing all tht u get the Hurricane blade which lets u spin 4 awhile n move killing all in ur path.

after you get the ten medals go to that wood cutter guy by the mountain in his house and he has a riddle for you he'll then give you a basket thats what it is you have to collect things in it and doing his riddles you unlock specialstatues and a secret spin move where you spin as many times as you want

You have to beat that Four Sword multiplayer game to get into that place in LttP. Also, there's supposed to be a glitch that can get you into the palace.

Not sure what it is exactly, but it involves that Mirror item.
