  • Sir u have BALLS!

  • yo ur mean y would u do that lms

  • aww whada cute lil guy

  • Imagine you wake up from bed and see that on your lap ಠ_ಠ

  • @TheEvaAngelina I'd probably think that was cool. :P

  • @TheEvaAngelina wtf how you do the eye thing

  • @shawn4201111 ಠ_ಠ this, just type "List of emoticons" on google and it'll show on wikipedia.

  • @TheEvaAngelina Id think shit! ...thats shrunk!!.... HAHA im here all week :)

  • For sure this is a Garter snake and has venom as well wikipedia/wiki/Garter_Snake

Garters were long thought to be nonvenomous, but recent discoveries have revealed that they do in fact produce a mild neurotoxic venom

  • @Jerome31051982 it's nothing most people would have to worry about. It's possible though that some people could be allergic to the venom, if it really qualifies as a venom.

  • @Jerome31051982 , oh I let them bite me sometimes, never no venom thing inside of me, even mild neurotoxic, did not appear, gartersnakes are the best, so sweet.

Beauty of an infernalis by the way, on the pic:))

  • @Jerome31051982 out of the dozens of garter snakes i have caught i have been bitten only twice. it was the same snake that had bitten me twice in a row because i had been unable to get a hold onto the snake close enough to the head and it turned and bit me. that was over 2 years ago. i never went to the hospital or sought medical attention for the bits. i put a band aid on it and returned to my normal activities. i didnt get an infection or react to any venom.

  • MUTE!!!

  • whoa that thing is pissy

  • i was fishing down by a lake wen i heard something in the grass so i looked over and it was a snake, water moccasins are common there so i went up and explained it to my friend then we went down to look at it and we tried to kill it it took about an hour wen it was dead we brought it up to get a definate identification (we thought it was a moccasin)turns out it was a garter snake resting bye the water now i know wat a water moccasin looks like and i wont make that mistake again

  • @honeypregno why would you kill a snake that is clearly not harming you in any way? see I love snakes and these type of things just piss me off......

  • @Thorthedragon3192 what snake is being killed? Certainly not the snake in my video.

  • @wadefulp not on the video. some one comented and they said they heard something in the bushs of where they were fish 20 feet away and they found it and killed it for no reason

  • @IveNeverSeenThtB4 Really? The guy was kind of egging the snake on, but I doubt it was getting overly stressed out.

  • they do act like vipers lol

  • im confused because a bunch of comments were wrote by my username and i havent sent those comments

  • wait thats not a garter. Thats called a woodlands striker, one of the most deadly venomous snakes known to mankind. if youre bitten you only live about an hour..... lol.. kidding. . lol., but really ive never seen a garter act like that, most times they seem really timid, scared and try to crawl away as fast as they can.

  • @ClassicRockfan79 LOL!! My cat had one and it was acting out of character like this one but I think it was just shocked and a little traumatized by the cat and me rescuing him. He's a snake, he didn't know what was going on.

  • @darlingdino speaking of the way snakes act let me tell you about 2 experiences i had. A few years ago my wife and i were on a trail way back in the Blue ridge mountains, we had a cam, and she wanted me to take a picture of a laurel bush with pink blooms, so i stepped off the side of the trail in some leaves, took the pic then looked beside me. Just inches from my foot was a big coiled copperhead, i freaked out and jumped up. strange thing is it never tried to strike or act aggressive at all.

  • @darlingdino another time i was working on my car and left my garage door open. i went to the parts store came back and was working under the car, i didnt know it but i had a helper lol. something went across my wrist when i was reaching up, i jerked my hands down and a small black snake maybe about 2 foot long fell in front of me,we both froze and looked at each other, it tried to crawl away i picked it up and took it to a feild behind my house, it also never tried to strike or act aggressive

  • @ClassicRockfan79 One day I thought a big stick was sticking out from under my car so I bent over to pick it up and it was a 4 foot long and very fat black snake! We both startled each other. He stood up real high and was striking his head toward me so I backed off then he slithered so fast into the yard and woods! They're usually non-aggressive so I guess he was just scared but I didn't expect that from a black snake!

  • @darlingdino thats strange, ive never seen a black snake act like that and ive be around lots of them, But Black Racer snakes act aggressive and mean, but most of them are real skinny, and shiny looking, Depending on where you live there is also a breed of Water Moccasin that kinda looks like Black Snakes, they are fat, but 4 foot long is a little strange, and they stay around water most times, im sure you could tell a difference so you must have pissed that black snake off big time lol.

  • @darlingdino great news, i met another snake today. lol I bought an area of land not long ago it has a little creek stream, i had seen a few queen snakes there, but today i was trying to cut down some weeds beside the creek i moved a good size rock so i could use the mower, put my fingers under the edge so i could lift it, found a large very unhappy water snake of some kind its was in a real bad mood, it struck at me, i ended his anger with the rock. lol, im sure i will be bitten one day. lol

  • @ClassicRockfan79 Well watch out because it could've been a water moccasin! A Japanese client of mine told me the other day that they believe snakes are a good omen and that if they leave their shed where you find it (or on your property) it's good luck! Isn't it funny how every culture views a creature in a different way?

  • @darlingdino I live in south west VA.in a somewhat country area..According to some online area wildlife research ive done water moccasins are not reported as being anywhere near this area, The report maps show them as being out near the east coast, The only venomous snake reported here is the copper head, but who really knows. lol. The Japanese are welcome to all the snake blessing and luck they want, because the only luck a snake will bring me is a trip to the hospital

  • @ClassicRockfan79 LOL about the Japanese! I'm in southwestern PA and I just found out we have water moccasins, copperheads, and rattles in PA. I didn't know we had anything poisonous here at all!

  • @darlingdino well i halfway disagree with the VA wildlife website because i have seen water snakes that just do not look like normal watersnakes, ive seen one or two before that fit the discription of a water moccasin, but according to all the research ive found on snakes in this area im wrong and all the water moccasins are on the other side of the state, if i ever see another one that i think is a water moccasin im going to take a picture, get an expert to look at it, and find out for sure.

  • @darlingdino and oh by the way, i saw your page. Jim Morrison, and John lennon = amazing... =]

  • @ClassicRockfan79 I saw yours too ;)

  • usually if a ribbon or garder snake snaps at you like that most of the time its pregnate every time ive caught one that snaped at me they had babies

  • How can you tell if a Snake is Harmless? I seen one recently.

  • @pr9nkaholic you need to know your snakes. Where do you live? The USA only has 4 native species of snakes that are poisonous, the copperhead, coral, cottonmouth, and rattle snakes. If you study their pictures you maybe able to identify them in the wild, but when snakes are moving around it can be hard to know what they are for sure.

  • @wadefulp dont forget water mockasans. arkansas river have them terrible. and they are poisonis

  • @nofarm the water moccasin is also known as the cotton mouth, same snake.

  • @nofarm venomous!!!! not poisonous

  • @wadefulp Gartersnake for sure

  • @wadefulp You mean Venomous. Sorry I am OCD about people calling snakes Poisonous when there is no such thing as a Poisonous snake.

  • @BelialAndar point taken. :) I will try to always refer to them as venomous from now on.

  • @pr9nkaholic Let it bite your sister. If she drops dead it is poisonous.

  • @pr9nkaholic One way to tell is look at the eyes; if the pupil is round they are harmless, if the pupil looks like a slit then they will harm you.

  • @pr9nkaholic Most Venomous snakes in the US usually have the Diamond eyes, all are pit vipers septic the coral snake. Alot of people mistake Water Snakes for Cotton mouths best thing is to look at the snakes from a distance if u dont know what it is.

  • @pr9nkaholic Well the triangular head and slit pupils are two big giveaways, but there are some venomous snakes that arent pit vipers, so basically, read up, and if you dont know what it is, dont touch it. There are ways to tell if a snake is venomous or not universally, but that requires a bit more knowledge than (no offense) I think you have.

  • angry garder snake

  • dawwww:3 it has a shorty complex

  • Aww, it's so cute. ^w^

  • Dude, shouldn't have said it's harmless! Should have said you were in an intense battle for survival with nature but that you came out on top because you're a 'fuckin' winner'.

  • You have to step on its face so it cant open its jaw.

  • I've done the same with larger snakes. They never appreciate the hand.

  • I hope i bites u u are so crule

  • i bet you wouldnt do that with a venomous one ;P

  • @nativeslayer56 you have the most kick ass name on youtube lol

  • @IveNeverSeenThtB4 I would prefer someone doing harmless teasing of an animal so that it stays away from humans, rather than feed an animal to acclimate it and have it come to people, expecting food.

  • dude thats just self defence.

  • i think he killed it

  • he is mean you shouldent aganise a little helpless snake :(

  • poor little snake. you hurt its pride! :(

  • Poor snake. XD

I would have laughed if he bit you. lol

  • what a prick. the snake, i mean

  • I used to enjoy messin with those little guys when I was a kid. Id pester them untill I got bored, then Id go ahead and toss em back into the yard.

  • if it bit you would it hurt plz answer back

  • @nativeslayer56 looks like no one replyed, if anything bites you and it means it,. thats as large as this snake, yes it'll hurt ofcoarse, but not that bad if its a non-venomous snake,. it stings for a second cuz something is cutting into your skin but after a bit your fine and dandy

  • @nativeslayer56 probably wouldn't hurt that much.

  • @wadefulp Yeah garter snakes don't have high power because of low jaw muscles, but they sure could make you bleed. I had a ribbon snake (sort of a smaller version of the garter snake) and it made me bleed all the time. If a snake is that mad you should leave it alone though.

  • @nativeslayer56 when baby snakes bite you it literary feels like touching vlecro.. its not bad at all. i cats claws are 10x worse than a baby snake bite.

  • @nativeslayer56 I've been bit my a garter snake. It stings a little, but it's not nearly as bad as a paper cut.

  • @nativeslayer56 I've bit it by a garter snake. it stings a little, but a paper cut hurts much worse.

  • @rk6314 can you stop messaging me about the stupid garter snake like god every time u message me i know it doesnt hurt that much but just stop messaging me

  • @nativeslayer56 WTH? I replied to your question *once*. Chill out a bit and relax!

  • @nativeslayer56 nah youd just feel a slight pinch

  • @nativeslayer56 No way. That's what you get for messing with them if they bite and besides garters don't bite. My cat just had one in the living room tonight which I rescued and took back outside. They are cute and totally harmless though this guy was a bit peeved!

  • @darlingdino They do bite. It's just that the bite is harmless.

  • @darlingdino who ever u are get off of my account im gonna change the password so you cant come on anymore

  • Comment removed

  • @nativeslayer56 No, it hurts less than stubbing your toe. I've had a couple of these guys chew on me pretty good, haha. A little bleeding, but hardly any pain.

  • @nativeslayer56 - I got bit by a garter snake like this when I was a kid, didn't hurt at all. Just left little bleeding teeth marks. Had to get a shot at the doctor for it.

  • @nativeslayer56 I once got bit by a snake, never hurt at all, I told her to make me a sandwich

  • @nativeslayer56 no, its just a little snake, plus he's biting defensively, if he was biting because he thought you were food, it would hurt more.

  • That reminds my of a garter snake I had for a while until I released it. Everytime I walked by it it striked!

  • @IveNeverSeenThtB4 i agree with you 29576123897256813748296%

    lol :)

  • He was cute!!!!!

  • @IveNeverSeenThtB4 you're right, I should have ignored it and left it on a busy bike path so it could have been run over by a bicycle. Instead I moved it to a safe location.

  • @wadefulp I did that one time when I came upon a cornsnake and a coachwhip in the middle of a bike path. Both snakes same day.

  • @wadefulp No you should of put it in a safe place, instead you aggravated/teased it.

  • @btcc11 if you read my comments you will see I did move it to a safe place. I was judging its temper before grabbing it to move it.

  • @wadefulp Oh, sorry then.

  • aw, dude in the picture at the end i think something's hanging out if its body... O.O

  • @LadyLumiere probably it's vent (butt, etc)

  • @LadyLumiere its shit

  • @LadyLumiere That was his musk gland. They secrete a bad smelling musk to make themselves smell unfit to eat.

  • haha ive been bit by those beforel

  • Wow, i've cought hundreds of garter snakes and i've never had one lunge at me, never even seen one open its mouth (with the exception of eating) or in its defensive position like that, thats a very odd garter snake

  • I used to catch them behind the head and they'd wrap around my wrist but oooh they let off an awful smell.

  • damn! they ususaly arent that aggressive!

  • I hate snakes !!!

  • @michal92199216 than why the hell are you watching this friggin' video?!

  • did u kill it in the end ???

  • @aboudqadi of course not. It's a harmless snake.

  • @wadefulp oh, well thats good

  • well hes lucky in 2 ways...1st way: its a slow striker and 2nd way: Its De-Fanged

  • @fungieguy465 not sure what you mean about it being a slow striker, I guess other snakes are faster? :P It wasn't de-fanged, it was a wild snake I came across. However, I don't think this type of snake has fangs, or at least, not very large teeth.

  • @wadefulp yeah lol, but all in all, very good video... :D

  • slow striker but awsome

  • That's one brave little guy!

  • fukkkk.....i wud be scared as hellll...haha lol hes like get back mother fuckerr u dont know me like datt...

  • Looks like a huggorm! That's what we call them in Sweden:D

  • wut a tough little guy haha,

    he's like "GET BACK!"

  • omg that snake is like adoreable dude once i caught this snake that was a EXTREMELY agressive and i put winter glove on to pick him up and he was biting like fuck at my finger it was freaky and funny

  • i used to have a garter wild caught it strikted at the chickens lol

  • what can it possibly do against you since its harmless? dont really understand why it tries to bite ya...

  • lol looks just like my other snake but comepletly diffrent attitude (lovable, kissable(lol)

  • what a *shat snake HURHURHUR

  • Look at that cutie did you know they also come in like a real light brown color

  • lol I love garter snakes

  • don't tease it wade, it might attack you.

  • Aweeee such a cutie. =D

  • what a beautifull snake ***** great video

  • OH SHI-

  • Cool

  • I like the slowmo with it looks great.

  • lol. Thats a cool snake. Keep him as a pet My dad was a cop, and he and another cop *no names* went to the park near our house and the other cop was sprayed with some stench *Venom I guess* and it was about 3 times worse than skunk. He wasn't bit though. Snake got away...=(

  • Not venom ... musk ... the snake pooed on him as a defensive mechanism.

  • lol
