actually no olbermann uses facts to destroy the arguments of others not screaming and opinion. yes he is of an opposing opinion to O'Reilly, but Olbermann has some grasp of logic and argumentative structure to create a plausible argument, even if you don't agree with it.

I'm afraid that MSNBC's nightly format has been betting nothing but more popular for pretty much since '07. As 'Fair and Balanced' has weighted the scales even more heavily to the Right, and CNN (the most centrist view) has taken a 'wait and see' attitude towards everything, a lot of more politically active younger viewers have tuned in, and a lot of long-term Republicans have even tuned in for the interviews.
