    thats a cool cell. unique. u could prolly use SS milkshake cups or SS lampshades to make a bigger version of this maybe for welding.

    just watched your cell only drawing 6 amps.. nice!

  • Thanks, I'm trying to keep the fuel cells small and maximize the output.

    I'm working on a design that I can add more cells to increase the output, but it is no bigger than a 6 Pack of Soda.

  • If them cups are touching in the middle they are not all nuetrals just one nuetral per non touching cup.

  • That is looking better. What voltage and amperage were you using. For reasons I dont want to get into right now I am trying to keep amps under 10 hopefully 5 or less. But this looks like you are definately getting somewhere. Keep up the good work.

  • 1 Quart of Distilled Water

    1/2 teaspoon of KOH (potassium hydroxide)

    12 Volts (PC Power Supply)

    Less than 15 Amps - I've been running the cell for the past 4 hours and it has not popped my 15 amp breaker, plus the container and the wires are only warm. (I don't have an amp meter yet)
