Yes, han government humiliate tibetan people. I have been there and talked with people (tibetan and other chinese ). But I think it is very stupid to kill yourself because of it. It is the worst way to fight the oppression.

Suppose a robber come in your house, would you try to kill yourself to beg him to not steal you ?

And after talking with bouddhist persons in the diaspora, I agree with Mohan that killing yourself it is not considered bouddhist at all.

Remember the Tiananmen Square Massacre in 1989, of a peaceful student protest - youtube.com/watch?v=6inWKFKv9U­A . An estimated 5,000 were slaughtered and over 10,000 injured. The Falun Gong oppression and torture!

Fly to China and see with you own eye, what going in China. It's just like New York, yes sure there always some people bitch about the government but in general life going on as normal. they're always some nuts people commit suicide , look at Japan. CCP is just a governing political party, there good and bad people always. If walk on Shanghai street or Taizhou (small town) street it's much better than Mumbai or New York.
