Great video! Could you tell me what brand of ghost ring and front sights you have on your spx? Is the ring attached or picatinny mounted? I have an spx tactical which does not come with the extension tube or sights, just a front sight. It is tapped and has screws to mount a rail. I want to purchase sights to mount on the rail I bought. I just picked up the 930 SPX and I’m going to me changing the factory installed standard shoulder stock for the pistol grip style shoulder stock. Was wounding if you could put out a short video showing the removal and reinstall of your pistol grip. From a former Marine, love your Marine Corp knife.

The followers were junk so I bought a Wilsom combat follow and spring from a 870. Works great. I'll have to send you a pic of mine. I carry in in the trunk of my patrolcar.

Yo..Pistol Pete Hot Dang that's a Sexy shotgun. That stock too...when ya bring it up your eye is right in line..feels like it was custom made. You'll prob need to start reloading shotshells..cause a auto loader is awsome fun. More so than pumps, least for me. Lee makes a great loader for like 70$ and MEC makes a great one too for like 170$ ...check em out. Shotshell loading is easy easy easy.

Yo..Pistol Pete... That 930's sexy... Mine don't have the sites like yours...but it's a short barrel turkey model..it does have vent rib mounted sites. When you bring it up...that pistol grip shoulder model... your eye is like auto fixed right down the sites.

Pumps are ok...but auto's are much more fun...you made a great choice. NOW you neet to reload..Ha Ha. Lee makes a great, cheap..under 100$ shotshell loader, & MEC makes one too 169$ Check em out.

@2ndefender - Dude, it's a smooth cylinder bore shotgun. With bird or buck, placement of individual shot will be random within a diameter of spread based largely on distance to the target & ammo type. Rifled slugs aren't accurate enough to make a significant difference. If it were a rifled slug barrel, maybe it might be a consideration. However, I can't think of any shotgun design that even attempts to free float the barrel. Shotguns simply aren't designed for that level of precision.

The clamp is also for safety. Dunno about the Mossberg but for my 870 my buddy sold it to me without the clamp - not this one. Sounds stupid but long story short I literally shot the barrel off my gun, like it flew off while firing. On the 870 there is a groove on the mag extension that the clamp fits in and it prevents the extension from unthreading due to recoil. Dunno about this one but my clamp you can overtighten which bends the tube up and potentially interferes with feeding. Looks good!
