I'm normally unimpressed by rc boats, but this is pretty bad-ass! Now what you need is another one and a few dummy torpedoes! And a scale Sean Connery. Cool Sub!

Its a normal 40 MHz Robbe / Futaba transmitter, the FX 18 and we had a good signal to about 3 meters deep.

The built in fail save (pressure switch) kicks in at about 3 meter and blow the tanks.

Hello,

If you use an 40 MHz transmitter you are able to penetrate fresh water to 6 meter top.

And how lower the Freq the better, so the I think, better and new transmitters with 2,4 G Hz are not possible/useful for model submarines.

The antenna are placed into the hull of the sub.
