One of the 4 endings of Human Revolution shows a mechanical 'fetus' which is JC Denton......When Adam Jensen was born in 1993, he was experimented on. His REAL parents burned down the facility and left baby Adam to another woman so 'they' wouldnt find Adam and the parents 'disappeared'. His real parents were scientists so Adam Jensen himself might be a similar creation to JC Denton, except a more primitive version. However that is going beyond the games, maybe a future game can clear that up.

Potential Spoilers......I just finished playing the game. From my understanding, Adam Jensen's DNA does not reject augmentations so they initiated Project D (Denton Project) which was mentioned in several places in Human Revolution. Megan Reed left Sarif Industries shortly and went to VersaLife (Bob Page owns it, he is part of the Illuminati and Megan doesnt know). With Bob Page, Megan helped create JC Denton, and cloned JC to create 2 other Dentons. They are based off of Adam's augmentable DNA.

Seriously though, the "chronological-order-of-releas­ed-games-twisting" seems to happen a lot actually. The Devil May Cry series are like this, too.

If we take the latest release as canon, the story is (1)DMC 5 - (2)DMC3 - (3)DMC1 - (4)DMC4 - (5)DMC2 in that order. A bit twisting when developers do that, but funny to experience nonetheless.

@EvilboyBackUp63 just because they made a prequel doesn't mean they should remake the entire series. uncharted was playstations signiture game. they had uncharted 1 drakes fortune. uncharted 2 amoung thieves. and uncharted 3 drakes deception. but uncharted 3 was a prequel to both 1 and 2, so basically its like uncharted 3 was uncharted 1. and uncharted 1 was uncharted 2. and uncharted 2 was uncharted 3. it came out not in numerical order. doesn't mean the game should be remade.

@Totyma I wouldn't really say Human revolution is even in the same universe as either invisible war or the original Deus ex, many of the technologies and just overall weapon design in human revolution are so far advanced when compared to either invisible war or the original that it may as well be a sequel rather than a prequel.

JC wasn't really born in 2029. In Area 51 you'll find a Tank with a Bionic man(Alex D) like JC and in the near Computer you'll find an Info when he should be born(one year later). And i think nothing what JC know about his life is true. So it could be that JC know nothing about the past he really got and he don't know when he was really born.
