  • Keep ur head up, I'm sorry ppl are so mean

  • @CrystalLegge Aww thanks, I try to keep my head up!!

  • I know the feeling Lauren, I take medication to control my bladder which is messed up all the time. People are ignorant, I noticed even where I work that many people that I work with could care less that I have MS, they are only out for themselves, it is unfortunate, its a society issue. I wonder how you are doing with MS and your bladder now? Best wishes...Dave.

  • @elkbow Hi Dave! I'm sorry to hear that the people are work aren't understanding...you're right...people are ignorant. Now, I've learned how to control how much liquid I drink. I'm really careful about it so I don't have an accident. I hope you are doing well!!

  • you are an inspiration. You are going to teach me how to be more compationate to others.

  • @rjl408 Oh my gosh, thank you for saying that! That is so sweet!!

  • IM PISSED!!! UR A SWEETHEART

  • Can I bet money that you have silver fillings in your teeth? If you have even one in your mouth, you now know the cause of your MS.

    Search Ken Presner on google.

He fully cured his MS by removing all his silver fillings.

It will change your life, do some research.

    Cheers.

  • @vancouverislandbass I don't have any silver fillings.

  • @laurenvparrott

    Okay, I'm sorry.

I can still asure you 110% that your symptoms are from metal toxicity such as mercury or aluminum.

Even if you don't have fillings... maybe your mom did? The mercury gets passed through into the fetus.

Please get a heavy metal test at a wellness centre and not a doctor as they don't want to help you!

Doctors just pump you full of pills which mask the symptoms never really helping.

You will be shocked at the test results!

    Get back at me!

  • @vancouverislandbass You are so incredibly ignorant. The cause and cure for MS is not yet known. Just because one person took out silver fillings and hasn't experienced symptoms or a relapse since, doesn't mean they found the cure or the cause. If that were the case, everyone with silver fillings should have MS. It is also endlessly insensitive to suggest such a ludicrous thing to an ms patient. They are waiting for a real cure. Not some arrogant idiot with no legit research spouting bullshit.

  • im having an attack at the moment. still coming to terms with ms. watching your vid made me cry :( hugs

  • wow are you from det. im from jackson MI. i love the wings. i moved to southern california for the Marines. i get hateful comments from people because im military but i also get supportive comments too. people say what they want im still proud of what i do. thank you lauren, dave

  • So sad to see you upset over the words of a mean evil woman. You are a kind, wonderful person. I pity that woman as she is pathetic. I do not pity you. You are strong, courageous & beautiful. So I ask you, if God offered you a deal to take away your MS, but in return you had to be that woman, would you take the deal? I would choose you. Ignore such evil words. Don’t let them steal a second of your life. Overcome with all the good you put into the world & into the lives of others. God bless you.

  • 2)There was a guy he would make fun of me the most, he would call me all sorts of names eg (frankenstein, robocop, zombie guy etc & i would never react or reply. Then 1 day i just lost my cool, i kicked him in the butt, he said r u crazy? whydid u kick me,i said ya i kicked u what r u gonna do about it? After a while he punched me &i hit him back, that day i realised, having ms dosent mean im made of glass, now i dont tolarate any kind of insult!

  • @sherokpazoor That's good - don't tolerate ignorant people!! I'm sorry you were treated that way :(

  • 1)hi,as i watching the vid, i realised you'r the type of girl (A man would kill him self if he made yu cry,&he would kill any one who made yu cry) this happend 2 years ago you'r probably over it by now. Cheer up & pls dont cry ( i have more things to say ill post more comments)

  • @sherokpazoor Oh my gosh, your comment is so sweet! Thank you for saying that! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!

  • Hey - I'm watching your videos as I am studing my bachelor of nursing and we are doing case studies on person centredness with patients with MS. You are amazing, such an inspiration, and your videos really bring home to me the fact that there are people behind this disease.

I have a little girl with cerebral palsy and the amount of horrible comments I have received from people is astounding, but I have also received lovely comments from people as well. Big hugs to you.

  • @lucinda007lulu Wow, thank you so much for writing!! Thank you for going into nursing! I wish you and your daughter the very best with everything!!

  • Where is human compassion. What is wrong with the hearts of people!

  • @ittapittap I don't know? I'm definitely not that way. At least I have wonderful friends and family!

  • Lauren, I just wanted you to know that I think what that woman said to you is appalling. My mother has MS and something similar happened to her...girls were making fun of her and she didn't hear it (I never told her) I made them feel very small, but not as small as they should have...Anyway, I am 26 and am about to be diagnosed (Monday I think-I have a positive LP and some inactive lesions.) I have been watching your videos...thanks for doing this.

  • I have experienced some bladder issues and it can be terrifying at times. I don't look like I would be a person with a disease either. You are so sweet and have such a great attitude. Its sad how people think that they need to be :(

  • @marknrogers Yes it can be terrifying! You are so kind, thank you for your comment! It is sad how people can be rude and do not try to understand others with problems. But we are here for each other! I hope you're feeling well!

  • you are an incredible person Lauren..please dont feel sadthere are a lot of ignorant people in this world...i know what it's like..me myself i am not suffering from MS, but i have an autoimmune disease in the eyes for 3 years now. Anterior Uveitis. i can totally relate...unfortunately people who dont suffer from an illness take everything for granted...

stay strong. you are an angel and such a positive person and example for everyone.

    best wishes!

    George

  • @wreyoG Hi George! Wow, thank you for your generous comment! You are so right - people do take things for granted because they don't know any better. I wish you the very best with everything!!

    Best wishes!

  • @laurenvparrott Thank you Lauren :)

  • I think it would be wise to invest in a medical alert bracelet/necklace. If you ever have an emergency the paramedics or emergency team will know that you have MS and what medication you are taking. Also a plus, if ever you have a relapse or MS bladder issue, you have proof that it IS Medically Necessary for you to move to the head of the line.

  • @ANNIEhasMS That's a great idea - thank you!!

  • This is one of my main reasons for not going out as much...I am so sorry that happened to you. I was diagnosed in 1994. Thank you for sharing.

  • @Msandmylife Thank you for writing! Sorry for the delayed reponse. I hope you're doing well!

  • Does your medications have any diuretics?? I have meds that do that very same thing. I have to go at least 5 times before I go anywhere! alot of people don't believe anyone anymore!! that is so mean of her!!

  • @LYNXVAL Hey! I don't think it is my medication because my bladder issues started during my relapse. But it's annoying, isn't it? That woman was mean, but I'm over it now.

  • Does your medications have any diuretics?? I have meds that do that very same thing. I have to go at least 5 times before I go anywhere!

  • Stay strong, I'm sending you Love from England! Richard Edwards (richie979),

  • @Richie979 Thank you Richard!

  • even though I had to blow out the concert last Saturday because of access issues. Were at St Georges Hall in Liverpool next month (Wirral Community Choir) it's quite a change for an old rocker like me.

  • So please don't worry too much about the future? Your strong and you will adapt. Good luck! I'm sending you some love from here in England.see me on youtube .... richie979X.

  • @Richie979 Thank you, I'm sending love back to you!

  • even though I had to blow out the concert last Saturday because of access issues. Were at St Georges Hall in Liverpool next month (Wirral Community Choir) it's quite a change for an old rocker like me.

  • where times when my hands stopped working and I couldn't play guitar so I'd move onto something else? luckily I've regained my dexterity so I'm back writing and playing, but only for fun now. I've also joined a 100 piece choir too (I recommend it)

  • human being and i think you should remember you're bigger than these ignorant, arrogant few idiot's. I think these people just project they're unhappiness onto you.?" They" have the problem, Not you! In my life I've had Meningitis, Bowel Cancer and multiple sclerosis? I'm a musician and have been for 38 year's all in all? There

  • @Richie979 I agree with you - people do project their unhappiness onto others.Wow, you are such a strong person!!

  • Hello lovely? llike you too have MS . I have had symptoms since1978? I am now 51 ans still going strong! Please don't upset yourself your obviously a gentle loving

  • Don't let ignorant people hurt you or make you cry. It's not worth your energy.

  • @anx1300c Oh, thanks for your support

  • thanks for all of you to telling yourstory I do have ms also and I am lucky one I have all symptems but I still am doing ok nisa zand

  • @NISAZAND I'm so glad you're doing well! I wish you well, and thank you for your comment!!

  • People can be really cruel, I'm so sorry that hapened to you. Believe me I understand.

  • I have a dear friend whom I love so much, who has MS... It is so heartbreaking to see how indifferent and self-centered people are.

  • @teakitfox Aww thank you, yes it is heartbreaking to see how rude people can be. All I can do is stay positive and try my very best! I hope you are doing well!!

  • I can SO relate. I have bowel issues, where I just can't hold it. I have stopped at little gas stations out in the middle of nowhere. I go inside literally begging to use their restroom and the jerks will tell me that they do not have one. I will get pissed and yell at them "THEN WHERE DO YOU GO WHEN YOU HAVE TO GO?" So many people are cold hearted or just that ignorant.

  • @pris72 Oh my gosh I'm so sorry - you're right - some people are so ignorant! I hope you're doing well!

  • @pris72 I can relate too. I have Ulcerative Colitis and when I'm flaring up, I cannot hold it! Everywhere I go, I have to make sure I know where the restroom is. When I'm in class or at a meeting, I sit near the door just in case. And yes, some folks are cruel and ignorant because they don't understand. While I can't relate to the other aspects of M.S., I definitely feel your pain regarding bowel/bladder issues.

  • Do me a favor, ask 100 random people what MS is. I wonder how many would be able to give a decent answer. Ignorance is everywhere and you cannot expect people to know everything. That is not an excuse, just a way of putting things in context.

  • To have been the victim of such a HORRIBLE insult, and to still have the desire to offer helping advice for others, all shows what a wonderful soul that you must be!! It shows your strength of character, indeed!!! :-)

As a person who has always made effort to show empathy towards others, it's heartbreaking to know how painful rude, or abusive behaviors are!!

I praise your genuine kindness here, and I wish you he best of health, and happiness!! :)

  • She was a jerk for saying that to you. Flip her the bird in your head and think about the women who were nice to you. They responded to your strength and bravery for approaching and asking. They saw your plight and responded how a lot of people would respond... with understanding. The other woman was just too dumb.

  • @PaulineGeorge26 Thank you so much for your comment :) Yes I agree with everything you said!

  • Thank you for telling your story, Lauren. My GF has MS. I only know her from online communications. She is 800 miles away from me. I am trying to educate myself by reading and watching videos such as yours. I'm so sorry about your experience at the hockey game you attended. You are so brave by letting us know what you had to deal with. Stay strong, Lauren.

  • @eatthat4breakfast Hello! Thank you for writing! I think it's so sweet that you are educating yourself about MS for your girlfriend's sake! I hope you have a great week!!

  • Opps, meant to say *dump* not dumb.

  • @Diaperdelight

Get lost, you're one of those diaper freaks trolling youtube for cheap thrills.

Believe it or not, most with MS don't wear diapers, because a lot of treatments and drugs help with that. Those are only used in the most severe cases when all options are exhausted.

    Now get lost.

  • @EricVideoPlace Thanks Eric!!! :)

  • High, Lauren

I'm Eric and have been researching MS on youtube and other sites because I am interested in it after knowing a few people with it.

I honestly let the flood gates open(no pun intended-ha-ha) but rather cried for you a bit. I honestly would of knocked that ignorant bitch out cold for you if I saw this happening. I just really wish I could reach through the screen and hugg you until you pee lol(sorry) Just trying to make humor to the situation a little bit.

    bye

  • @EricVideoPlace

Hi Eric! You are so sweet for researching about MS! Aww, thank you for coming to my defense with that ignorant woman - and thank you for bringing humor to this page! That's always appreciated!!

    Take care!!

    Lauren :)

  • {3/3}

(My girlfriend just now died of MS [right here in the Detroit region, same as where you are]. And, several years ago, I did ease her into accepting diapers.)

  • {2/3}

And, as you, yourself, mentioned, there ARE food/liquid intake preventative assurances that you (as well as anyone else in any similar sort of situation) may, and now really ought to of course remember to beforehand, consider availing.

But, also, it MAY be about time for you to consider “Embracing the Diaper”! At least for those such venues you know in advance have significant potential uncertainty.

  • {1/3}

Alright, such rudeness and insensitivity IS simply awful, of course.

And, it IS a reflection upon our social degeneration at large.

However, certain realities in life simply HAVE to be dealt with.

In your case, unfortunately, and as you are already way much too aware for such a sweetie, it is the MS, itself, for one.

  • @thepriceofredemption I know! People can be very nasty! I'm sorry you had an experience like that. I'm doing fine now! Thanks!

  • @thepriceofredemption I know! People can be very nasty! I'm sorry you had an experience like that. I'm doing fine now! Thanks!

  • she obviously had to poop... this makes me so mad, im so sorry you had to deal with that

  • @faraldgv Haha that's hilarious! Thank you so much for writing...at least I haven't run into that ever again!!

  • Hi Lauren I have HIV and people are still ignorant about the virus and the stigma. I used to work at a hospital in san diego and some of the staff were making terrible comments about a HIV patient that was discharge there and how they were saying they wouldn't touch them or they had to clean there room with lots of bleach. They told this right in front of me I bit my tongue. Could have called HR and got some one fired over it. Your a inspiration Lauren and your such a cutie. Lance

  • @koreancat1 Hi Lance!! Oh gosh, I'm so sorry - people can be so ignorant :( You definitely could have called HR over that! How ignorant! People have NO IDEA what they're talking about!!! You are very kind and I appreciate your message! I hope you have a great week!!

  • I have retention and take ages and ages to empty my bladder, and I am really prone to bladder infections because of this and if I get a bladder infection, it can lead to a relapse, blah blah - and I was in the bathroom at the airport and had a nasty woman banging on the door, yelling for everyone to hear - that I had been in there 'forever' and there were other people waiting, and how long did it take to pee etc - I was also in tears so I do relate and am so sorry you went through this

  • @allisonclarkeB I have MS too and can relate. Was it a private bathroom? If it were me, after I was done, I would have locked the door as I was coming out and shut it so she wouldn't have been locked out. If it were a stall then I would have just stayed in there longer to make her wait. Better yet, maybe I would have taken a dumb and then "forget" to flush it. I know that is mean, but I am so sick of the way people treat those with disabilities.

  • @allisonclarkeB Oh my gosh! That's terrible!! I'm so sorry you went through this experience! Some people are so rude!!

  • i'll say people have to think before shit comes out of there mouth that is awfull be kind to people because you can get sick or know some one who is sick. you keep going girl god is with you love ya april

  • @AWDESIGNS8 Thank you so much April! I agree, people should really think before they say something. God is with me always!! Love ya!

  • you should have punched that bitch in the face...

  • i hae MS tooo and bladder issues which bather me and imberss me the most .. i cant talk to it just to m mom the ony one and my DR. talking about it is too brave and the lady she is so selfish and only god knows what she was thinking .. i thank you for this nice video coz really we need someone to hear us and to understand us .. i wish you all the best dear

  • @aromauae I'm sorry you have bladder issues too, it's so annoying. Thank you so much for your comment! I wish you the best!

  • Honey I have to agree with Vince. You are a beautiful girl and women can be so mean to eachother. She had no right to treat you that way. She is a jealous, bitter person. You have such an optimistic attitude while struggling with such an awful disease. Bless you sweetie.

  • @dawntenor Oh, thank you so much!! Bless you!

  • You're such a genuinely sweet person. There's very people out there that are genuine and willing to bear their true emotions and hurt feelings as you. If someone was rude to me in that manner as that woman, It would hurt me deeply too, but I would lock my emotions inside myself and be way too embarrassed to let anything show on the surface. It's nice see someone show that they're human and capable of being hurt, maybe then someone will realize that they need to treat people decently...

  • @mightydistinguished Wow, thank you so much for your very kind comment! I really appreciate it :)

  • She was mean to you because you are beautiful inside and outside, this jealousy makes her ugly inside and outside. We all have our crosses to bear in life, lets be thankful we don't have hers. You my dear are an inspiration! I have a daughter your age and I'm going to show her your glowing example. Tante belle cosa Principessa.

  • @vincelano Oh my gosh, that is so sweet of you to say to me! Grazie molto!

  • Thank you for speaking out about this, you are very brave and it does make a difference to people. My mum had bad bladder issues with her MS and it really bought her down. I'm sorry that this happened to you and can only say how positive and strong you are, it's just such a shame there are people like that lady out there. You're a beautiful young woman and I wish you all the best xxxxx

  • @msharuki28 Thank you so much! I appreicate it! I hope you and your mom are doing well!!

  • This is an issues that has come to now be one of the banes of my existence. I have been brought to the point of severe embarrassment after being made to wet myself because there are people who don't want to believe an issue is what you tell them it is.

  • @kindlyone Oh my gosh I'm so sorry - I can completely relate. I wish you the very best with everything!

  • Lauren, did you get my reply to the youtube email you sent me. I just pressed reply after I wrote back to you. Please let me know if you got it!

    Love,

    Jeanne

  • You poor girl I wish I could have been with you! I would have reemed her a new ass!!!!!!!!! Karma is a bitch!!!!!!!!!

  • @jeannelovesjon1 Aww, thank you! I wish you were there too! The only thing I could do was cry!

  • I can relate!!!

  • @chickashachicks Isn't it awful?

  • I'm so sorry this happened to you...I can so relate! An incident like this happened to me at the gas station during an attack once and I cried for days and it it crushed me too! I love you attitude...I hope you are doing well and really enjoy your updates! xoxo

    Petra

  • @miasmom9999 Hi Petra! I'm sorry you had to go through a similar situation. It's humiliating...and frustrating! Thank you so much for writing! I hope you're doing well!

  • Girl I so feel your pain! Im a x-model and people unbderestimate me because they see a pretty image, but I have MS. My bladder is awful! I constantly wear pads and im tired of it!!!! Keep posting, we appreciate it!!!!

  • @deidra82able Thank you for writing to me! It is so nice to know that I'm not alone!! I wish you the best!

  • Darling, I can definitely relate - I have the same problem and don't get me started if I'm laughing and joking around. I'm seeing a Neurologist again Sept. 1. My thoughts and prayers are with. I totally sympathize. Love you!

  • @Willow1120 Thank you so much for writing! It's always nice to know that I'm not the only one! I hope your appointment goes well! Love you too!

  • OMG Lauren, I just sat here and cried with you, what a shame. I'm so so sorry that people can be so darn rude and uncaring. I happen to have the opposite problem, I have hesitancy. It can sometimes take me 10 minutes to go, and am always at risk of having to go to the hospital to be catheterized. I know how it feels to be hurt. I once was accused of doing drugs in the stall because I was in there so long. When I tried to explain, I was met with "that's what they all say". I cried my eyes out.

  • @pretyfunee Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry you had to go through that. People can be so rude! It sounds like you're doing well though!

  • Lauren I have the same exact problem with all of my relapses. All I have to do is see the toilet and brain says go! and other times it just hits me! like right now! so I so understand. :( Lauren. It happened to me in Walmart. I peed in my pants in the stall I stayed and I was crying. Someone over heard me and called the manager, who was so wonderful. She asked if I trusted her I said I did. and she went and bought a pair if pants and underwear on my size and had me sign for them. I understand.

  • @violetmatthers It's so nice to know that someone else understands! Wow, what an amazing woman in Walmart! That is like a scene in a movie!! I hope you are doing well!

  • My Dear

Unfortunately, there are lot of people who does not know what is compassion and empathy, but indirectly, they teach you how to handle pain anymore, how to deal with this situation in the future, and how to be stronger.

Thank you very much for sharing your experience, deeply, I apologize behalf of that lady.

  • @SuperShanaz I know what you mean. Thank you so much for understanding!

  • My Dear

Thank you very much for sharing your experience, deeply, I apologize behalf of that lady.

  • You handle yourself with style and grace! Thank you for being so positive in your videos. Ive been watching a lot lately since I was just diagnosed with MS on 5/20/10.

You are very inspiring. Some people who dont have this disease have a hard time understanding what we go through. I know that when I laugh (at myself mostly) it helps me. So when I fall or pee myself I just laugh. clean myself up and go about my day. Keep the videos coming. Yours are inspirational to a newbie MSer...:)

  • @stacy74311 Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! I handle myself exactly the same way! I wish you the best!!

  • I think that I (like most who have watched you that have MS) think you are great sharing your story. I cried with you on your story. People without MS have no idea of how horrible this disease is. Yes, we look "great". How many of us would trade that for health - at least if you "look" sick, people will back off and really (maybe) think about their cruel remarks. But they can't see our pain, can not understand. Like trying to describe having a child. Impossible to explain. God Bless!!

  • @dely1112 Thank you so much! I know exactly what you mean...people have no idea. I wish you the best with everything! God Bless!

  • I have been watching your videos for last couple of hours but this one has really touched me. I have PPMS Once when my children and I were at the Mall, a woman stopped me and started yelling at me. I was so shocked, at first I didn't realize what she was saying until I heard my 6 year old daughter say, "My mommy is not drunk, she has MS!" All I could do was cry... people were starring at us. Apparently, I was stagggering as I pushed the baby stroller (my walker during the early years).

  • @svlomicky Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. That had to have been difficult. But it sounds like you're a lot stronger now!

  • oh my goodness. i cried right with you in this video. .. i appreciate you coming forward with all of the issues MS has. My mom has had MS for about 10 years, the slower kind thank goodness. But its been slow for 10 years, so its very noticeable. Unfortunetly, my mom doesn't open up about her ms. I think maybe because like you were saying, a lot of stuff is embarrassing. I really appreciate all your videos because i'm learning a lot about what MS is and what it does. thank you thank you!

  • @HayleyPekarek Thank you for writing! I know it must be very hard for your mother...it's hard for all of us. I wish you both the very best!!

  • I understand everything you are talking about. I joke about having my "water break". My diagnosis came 10 years ago and only within the last year has it impacted my life. I forgot to hang my handicap placard at the grocery store and had a woman scream at me in the parking lot because I don't "look" handicapped. It's comforting to know there are others that experience similar challenges. Keep the great attitude! Looking forward to seeing more from you.

  • @jrandersn Yes, I've definitely been in that position as well. That's really funny about your "water breaking"! Good luck to you!

  • i can totally understand. i do not have a confirmed diagnosis, and have been waiting 8 years, tests and more tests... still no answers. i recently was on vacation in the bahamas, i had just had breakfast and was returning to the room with my friend, when i told her we need to hurry, i have to tinkle... well, unfortunately i couldn't make it. a 38 year old woman peeing her pants, HUMILIATING!!! i wish people could understand what this is like. J :)

  • @jodifugman Oh gosh I'm sorry you had that experience...I also wish people could understand!

  • I completely understand, and karma really needs to hit the people that "really" deseve it. I also wish that even though we don't "look" sick all the time that people wouldn't be so rude when we aren't doing well and they have no idea what it feels like. Hope you are doing much better. :)

  • @KSJ716 I completely agree with you! I hope you are doing well! I am doing great!

  • I am so sorry this happened to you! I personally have been undiagnosed for 10 years. Still going through many tests and neurologists. I sympathize with you. I actually left a job I had for 9 years because a customer asked a co-worker if I were on drugs because of the way I walk. I was so embarrassed! I wish people would be more compassionate. You never know what your future holds. I will pray for you. Again, I'm sorry, my heart feels for you. God bless!

  • @pboring1 Aww, thank you :) Oh my gosh, I'm sorry someone did that to you! I really wish people would be more compassionate. I will pray for you also! I wish you the best with everything!

  • Hi Lauren. I have MS (we met in Kalamazoo on 5/13/2010) also.

Most people are understanding of MS, this lady was not. I have had people give me dirty looks when my wife parks in the handicapped spot.

When I see this, I do nothing, but if they say something to me, I usually answer with "if you want to fight, you can get whooped by a handicapped, or you can lose to one, which route do you choose, because I'll heal either way"

BTW, we do have a license plate, but most people don't notice that

  • @magikmarc1 Thank you for writing! It was so nice meeting you in Kalamazoo! You're right - most people are understanding of MS and this woman, unfortunately, was not. That's really funny what you say!! I hope you're both doing well!

  • @laurenvparrott I have bladder issues myself, so this was really helpful to hear, and some good advice too!

Oh yeah, I'm not really a tough guy, but I can talk like one pretty good!

  • @netmagikpros Oh thank you so much! Haha that's funny! That's ok! Talk like one!!

  • @laurenvparrott I have bladder issues myself, so this was really helpful to hear, and some good advice too!

Oh yeah, I'm not really a tough guy, but I can talk like one pretty good!

  • You are such a beautiful person and im sorry that happened to you!! Thank you for all your videos!!

  • @JJHHL1 Thank you so much! You are very kind :)

  • I admire your courage!

I never cry, but you just made me cry...

I do not have ms myself (my aunt has), but the things you say really inspire me to become a better person!

    Thank you!

  • @ffirangi Oh my gosh you are so kind! Thank you very much!!

  • Thats terrible, is there no provision for supplying you with a card or something that explains your condition to people to confirm that you are genuine?

  • @medrecs Yes, there is a card that says when a patient has MS. Next time that happens I'll put it in their face! Thanks for your concern!

  • Lauren..I am so sorry that you had to deal with this situation. There are some people that do not understand what MS does to us. I have to wear urinary incont. pads myself. It took me years to accept the fact that I had to wear them. People are so rude, and those of us with MS can really relate. Thank you for the tip on food. I will definitely see if that helps. Keep smiling & making us smile =)

  • @bndttwig Thank you so much for writing, and telling me you can relate! It's so nice to know that I'm not the only one :) I hope keeping food on you will help!

  • I want to slap the 'where's your handicap sticker' lady! Some people!

  • @kenyon1245 Oh I know!

  • people are very mean

  • @alwayswet2008 Yes, they sure can be...

  • Aren't Red Wings fans jerks anyway? KIDDING! I'm an Avalanche fan... with MS. Sorry sweetie, People can be horrible sometimes.

  • @whitejellyfungus Boo Avalance! Just kidding...I love sports rivalries! Yes people can be horrible and that's unfortunate, but it only makes me a stronger person!

  • oh my gosh thats absolutely horrible. some people are so ignorant to other peoples misfortune. i hope you never have to experience that again.xx

  • @MusicIsEndlessXD You are so sweet - I hope it never happens again either!

  • I'm thinking about taking my handicapped tag and zeroxing the thing onto a T-shirt, to wear it when I'm out. That will definitely help in the mens room - I just know it! lol

  • @drewfuss2121 I bet it would!! That's funny :)
