So that which doesn't add to the logg-book won't effect the the total "scan-percentage" upon completion? If so i've got it all wrong, i thought everything which could be scanned effected the "scan-percentage".

Nope, scanning everything for 100% logbook would be overkill.

You only have to scan Creatures, Pirate Data, Chozo Lores, and Research entries, all of which are added to your logbook (and I list them in the description of each video) count for the 100% logbook.

Actually, you can miss the Parasite Scan on the station, as they can be found almost everywhere once you make planetfall.

I used to play through the normal way like this walkthrough demonstrates. Now I don't play it without using sequence breaks. My favorite is the first one: Space Jump Boots as the first item collected. Thank you Scan Dash Jump! Having Space Jump from the get-go is a huge timesaver.

No, it's a straight passage. don't waste your time killing monsters and such. Just rush. There are no Explicit scans on the ship after the Parasite Queen so your good with scans.

You can't come back here in a playthrough unless you start a new game. But you shouldn't worry, there aren't that many scans, just a few important ones (the Pirate Data and Parasite Queen).

This game is comepletly going into better games. The creators of this game obviously knew what they where doing and used their imagination widely throughout the entire game. If you want a good game that just is completely better than any other game available, you should get this game and echoes. echoes is a bit harder, though :)
