I don't want to keep this argument going, but just to clarify. The whole anime would've been basically meant nothing without Lelouch dying in the end. Think about it. All Lelouch wanted was to be with Nanaly, in order to atone for his sins, he punished himself with death. Suzaku wanted death to atone for killing his father, but got life instead, hence, punishing himself too. That's what Zero Requiem was. Deal with it.
