Anyhow, good job! You were pretty consistent with Smoke's combos, but try to watch the Wake-Ups more. With the recent change made to them, snuffing them is tougher to do.

Haven't had time to watch ur vids due to tragedy and 3rd semester starting, but I've been playing the game a little. My go2guys: Scorp, Cy Sub, Lao, Kita, Smoke, Rai, Shang, & Ken. Haven't played online yet, & I focus more on reading the opponent than doing combo streams; I lack that kinda focus, but I'd really like to be able to pull off some combos that do more than 20%. Any advice for a young MK gamer? (keep up the good work)

i'm not tyler, but some solid advice would be to pick a couple of characters (not the 7-8 you've listed) and really spend time in the lab learning the ins and outs of the character. Learn what moves work when, and which of them are legitimate pop ups, and you'll be improving your game in no time.

@TylerLantern i hope u noticed that at 3:20 in the vid what sektor did to u has alot of potential to be a setup for a really high damaging combo even though it was accidental but i really do hope that u read my comment and reply back and also take advantage of my little discovery in ur vid bcuz u could punish a smoke user really badly if u could manage that in a match again a real person, but please take a look at that and tell me what u think like if u could use it

@keedey12 Thanks for the comment! I already knew you could use the up rocket to start a combo, but I never thought of it in terms of stopping Smoke's teleport like that. You could get the same ammount of damage from doing it that way, or just starting the combo regularly with the rocket, but if you could anticipate when you opponent will teleport, then it would work perfect as a way to punish. Smoke's teleport is so fast though, it was really luck that it even hit. Either way, good eye there.

I know that for babalities you can't make a successful block in the winning round, and for animalities (in earlier MK games) you have to do a mercy in the same way and then win again, but I can never pull off stage fatalities! @Lucagaming TylerLantern already explained to someone else, you can still do the otg smoke bomb if you chose the MK2 Smoke costume. It is patched on the other costumes, but NOT the MK2 Smoke costume.

I know something Tyler doesn't know about Kintaro. If you jump backwards when he jumps that annoying teleport stomp, you can jump kick in the air. And if the character you're playing as has an air attack, you can do both.

@tonystark19631 No, I did not go to EVO. I run a full time business and am not able to travel anytime that I want. I would loved to have gone, but I can not leave my business in anyone else's hands. I take vacations and leave the business with my brother, but I have to schedule it months in advance. It is definitely worth it though.

means that you can continue your juggle even though your opponent is already on the ground by using otg.

in this video, smoke is using his smoke bomb as otg to continue his combos. thus, otg smoke bomb.

Sup Tyler. You need to go to some offline tourneys. Btw, a useful tip I learned from shoryuken aka shorry 88, is to teleport after the knock down. That's where smoke really shine with his mix ups. Right after you telepot in, you can immidiately do b2,3 which will normally get someone, or the 3,d1,2 combo, or the throw. Only thing that could counter it would be a wake up, but if you read your opponent, you can tell when they will do a wake up. Anybutt, keep up the work.

@iiAFX Fatalities do not count on the timer. Once you get the last hit and it says "Finish Him", the timer stops for the match. I meant Speed Run as in the actual matches themselves. I run through each match fast, regardless of what happens after it says "Finish Him". Everyone is reading wayyyy too much into the phrase "Speed Run". Its an Arcade Ladder lol, nothing more.
