    Very Interesting video, My father was involved as a G.P.O. Engineer:-

    In 1962 I was back at the Switching Centre again ready to witness Telstar and the first television transmissions from the United States. More excitement and congratulations all round. In preparation for the event three of our radio engineers were sent to Goonhilly. He then goes on to say how there was unfortunately a road accident near Goonhilly and one of his engineers lost his life.
