  • VGA cable I won on ebay for 2.99 w/free shipping arrived about 3 hours ago! Had trouble with resolution but was able to use remote to stretch the screen, works great! Had 'professionals' tell me I'd have to purchase an expensive converter! You explain this process so well, so informative, that this grandmother of 8, soon to be 9, I feel empowered!! Thank you very much! God bless you!

  • @oneasshander Audio does not travel through the VGA connection. VGA is the same type of connection used to connect a desktop computer to a monitor. The sound will still play thru your laptop's speakers...If you were to use an HDMI connection, i believe that you would be able to hear audio on the TV....

  • theres no rgb on a 2009 led samsung tv

  • Hello, I have a sony ux390n w/vista and a samsung lcd. I know how to connect it. The problem is that the lcd screen at the beginnin looks brighter (as my laptops screen) but after 2 seconds goes a litle bit darker ( I try the Lcd's backlit option but it doesnt work ) ..

  • It works!!!! Thank God for google because it pointed me out to your video! Thanks very much! Many people do not know about this cable! So thanks a bunch! xoxo

  • hi, thanks so much....we have the same laptop and tv.... :-) I am having trouble because I got the "no signal" problem and I never thought of the going to control panel because the first time I hooked the cable up it worked just fine. I am going to disconnect here and see if I can view it now after making the changes. Don't have wireless internet...lol I will come back and see if it works! I hope it does cuz I have a tons of new movies that I want to watch.

  • Excellent, I did not know how to connect my PC to my LCD TV yet, just learning. In fact I can connect a chape VCR to my LCD. Or a DVD and it plays fine on my Sony Bravia, However, I can not get the video on my MP3 Player to my TV for some reason. Neither can I see my pictures on my Digital Canon camera on my TV either... usually this stuff was so easy to do I can't imagine what I'm doing wrong. May you can do some tutorilas on connecting devices to your LCD TV. It would help many people.

  • hey nice video.. Umm wat if you are trying to hook up a desktop computer to a tv but you dont got a computer monitor. Can you still hook it up?

  • Great video buddy. Thanks!

  • nah, just laptop to tv

  • Great stuff. I'm off to connect my laptop to my tv right now! Thanks for making it easy. (a bit like showing a bloke how to work a washing machine, so complicated to some yet so easy to others!)
