@oneasshander Audio does not travel through the VGA connection. VGA is the same type of connection used to connect a desktop computer to a monitor. The sound will still play thru your laptop's speakers...If you were to use an HDMI connection, i believe that you would be able to hear audio on the TV....

@socom817 No, you cant go the other way as far as I know. Theres a way to record TV on your laptop with Windows 7, but I havent dabble with that so idk.

Excellent, I did not know how to connect my PC to my LCD TV yet, just learning. In fact I can connect a chape VCR to my LCD. Or a DVD and it plays fine on my Sony Bravia, However, I can not get the video on my MP3 Player to my TV for some reason. Neither can I see my pictures on my Digital Canon camera on my TV either... usually this stuff was so easy to do I can't imagine what I'm doing wrong.
