  • hello ... i buy products from you site all the time and i was wondering ... how much sustain does and angled headstock actualy add as compared to flat headstock

Opinions differ on this subject, so we turned to Erick Coleman for his answer: “It’s just as common for a guitar without a pitched peghead to have more sustain than another one with. And the wood itself has as much affect on tone and sustain as the building technique. (And tone is a matter of preference, too!) There are many amazing-sounding-Fender-style guitars out there, so no one method is better than another."

  • @caulinrocker1 unless the headstocks a bit bigger not much honestly I think its cosmetic if not. There's many ways to add sustain such as bolting in the pickups like van halen .. a new bridge like a Kahler or even just new thicker strings.
