  • best dslr for video out right now..... main reason why.... SWIVEL SCREEN AND MANUAL CONTROL OVER AUDIO ;) forget about the 5D

  • gays please please reply .. i have a 60D and i have put a timer for video shooting and i dont know how to remove it and it telling me movie recording has been stopped automaticaly

  • When I turn the dial to shooting mode it doesn't automatically turn to live view, what do I do?

  • @MissGabbieGrotesque hit the live view button (REC button) if that doesnt work, try to turn the cam on and off, or take out the battery and try it again... if that doesnt work then your cam is broken because it should def automatically turn on once you set it to shooting mode...

  • Very helpful! Quick question. When shooting video on "Face Detection Mode", will the camera refocus on the subject if they were to move while recording?

  • very helpful. Thank!

Can this be fixed if so pls advice

  • this is the reason i got this brick <3

  • thank yo so much

  • Weired, I usually shoot on PAL, cause I live in Europe! Thx for your help

  • Why is it neccessary to change the setting to PAL? I have always been taught to shoot in NTSC in USA?

  • How did you get the 30 Frames on 1080p? Mine does not support 30 frames.

  • @DanielJWeiner you have to change the settings NTSC to pal to view the 30fps i hope that helps

  • @DanielJWeiner In Wrench2 of the menus change "Video System" from PAL (European standard) to NTSC (N.America standard). That will give you options for 30 and 60 fps modes.

  • To anyone who is looking for a faster memory card, try the Transcend SDXC 64GB at B&H Photo

  • @tjrox63 try class 10 SDHC too =)

  • I´ve bought this camera yesterday, and now I´m waiting for it to arrive at the shop, and I really CAN`T wait to get my hands on it, costs a fortune, but I already know that it will be worth every euro.

  • @Jeaust8V I just got mines today cant wait to shoot this weekend

  • @Jeaust8V oh man i got this camera today. Today!

  • @Jeaust8V I think you're confusing this with a different camera because it sure as hell does NOT "cost a fortune!" Great camera and a great price for the market!

  • @MathewJoki He lives in the United Kingdom, so it's different for him.

  • @Jeaust8V Same here bro, my girl got it for me for christmas im dying to get!

  • *wish

  • I just with this particular camera wasn't so expensive. I'm not necessary old enough to start in the working world, meaning that this camera isn't an option.

  • excellent explanation sir, thank you.

  • that was very helpful thans ı dıdnt know that my 60 can manuely record now ı love my camera much more :)

  • I'm new to dslr camera. and my dslr camera is Canon 60D. I have a problem about video. When I start to record, it will automatically stop after 3-4 seconds. I'm annoyed and I don't know what to do. :( can someone help me.

  • @Imewora Hey that happened to mine to and it comes up with a message. i got a new faster memory card and that went away, its to do with the recording speed of the memory card

    cheers :)

  • Im 60d user...when im recording a movie suddenly is stopped automatically....why is that?is it becoz of the speed of the memory card?

  • @begaigai I had it once with a class 10 card, could be sensor temperature.

  • @begaigai I've had the same issue with mine. First, make sure you have a memory card of at least Class 6 and verify it has a high read/write speed. I bought a Centon 32gb class 10 but it was very frustrating to use since I always got that error. I formatted the memory card after taking data off of it and results were better but I think if you go with a reputable brand with the above criteria you might do better. Let me know how it goes I'd be curious to see what works and change my memory card!

  • @begaigai Yes its because of the speed of the memory card. Try to use a SDHC card

  • How to solve a problem during movie recording its stop automatically,it appears "Movie recording has stopped automatically"......is it becoz of the speed of te memory card........

  • @Kendall0872 7D

  • @8x50scope Everything is bright even in the dark. 60D has great ISO optimization and with the good lens you can achieve really good results. I'm a photographer full time, but even my co-workers are buying 60D for the commercials and music videos. One word - great camera. Hope i helped.

  • @8x50scope - My f/.2.8 is bright, so your 50mm will be great for the video. You can record at 3200 ISO without any grain... Don't really know if you can record at H1, i can't at my 60D.

  • Wow...awesome! Thanks!

  • Very Helpful. Thank you!

  • you skipt 24p mode

  • how do you get 30 and 60 fps?

  • Thanks so much!

  • how many minutes of video can you record on full battery? someone please answer

  • @Cheezwizhi9 almost 1.5hrs

  • Thanks, this was great.

  • very helpful!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Its because the card is too slow you need a class 6 or above ans if your card is a class 6 or above then you will have to format the card within the camera. You see when you take a bunch of pictures or video and then delete them this causes blank spots on the card which will slow the card down. I always format before shooting any video my card is a class 10 and I have the shut off problem also until I format. Make sure to transfer anything you would like to keep to your computer before.

  • very helpful.

  • Can Anybody tell me about this?

I'm about buying this camera, or de nikon d7000.

I read that the top clip time in movies is about 12 minutes or 4 Gb. my question is:

When its needed to be longer than 12 minutes and, let's suppouse i'm recording myself and have no acces to the camera.. does it keep recording in another file automatically? or does it just stop and no more video is recorder unless someone hits the record button again?

The nikon top time in movie mode is 20 minutes..Thank you!

  • @rojaviva the only advice i know to give you is if you want a camera for primarily pictures, go with nikon, but for video, go with canon. Better yet the canon 60D

  • hi, when i recorded video mode in 60d, it says: the movie has been stopped automatically. it takes only 6 secs and not more. what's the problem ? i have 16gb sdhc. why this movie is always up to ONLY 6 secs ? i don't understand. please help me. thanks !

  • @komell2009 i was having the same problem with an 8 gb when i first bought mine. Then i put in a 32 gb card, and i didnt have the problem anymore. I really dont know why.

  • @trashbash2001 thank u so much ...

  • OMG EOS 60D

  • @Zivevy I use the included software to down load the videos from my camera and drag them right into my NLE. That seems to maintain the HD quility.

  • HI! How do I transfer hd video to my MAC and into Final Cut Pro, without losing the HD quality? My videos always seem slightly blurry.. although I set the focus right. I transfer the content, inserting the memory card directly yo my MAC but, is a HDMI cable maybe better?

    Thank you!

  • @IzzylilStar Hi, is the footage blurry after you have exported or while you are editing? Are you exporting at full HD or regular standard definition?

  • @TheMugfaker It's ok when I view the footage on the memory card on my MAC it's fine, when I import it into FCP the quality is really worse, and it stays that way once I export the finished video.... any idea? Thanx!

  • @IzzylilStar check your import settings in FCP.
