Geri has a very mild form of Cerebral Palsy. Some have it more severe where they can't talk or walk. I knew a girl, in junior, who had it worst than Geri. She couldn't even talk or walk. She had to use braces on her legs and a walker to walk....

Geri has a very mild form of Cerebral Palsy. Some have it more severe where they can't talk or walk. I knew a girl, in junior, who had it worst than Geri. She couldn't even talk or walk. She had to use braces on her legs and a walker to walk....

Blair and Jeri are a complete contrast. Blair is perfect and has everything. Geri is handicapped but is happy and has a few good jokes. Yeah I laughed at the "Bleh" jokes and all, but I really rooted for Geri when I was a little kid watching this show.

I remember this show, too. I, too, have Cerebral Palsy; I'm afraid I don't always deal with/accept it as well as Geri does, though. This has been a real eye-opener, seeing this, again.

I am 20 and I didn't grow up with the series back in the day, but I watched reruns as a kid and I just fell in love with the show! I liked them all I think Natalie was my favorite and the tomboyish one.
