Hey Evan I gonna get this, I am learning the jazz scales but just play them straight up and down. I was hoping that your book had like jazz patterns over a wide variety of scales. So rather than practicing just straigt up and down which is quite boring I could use the patterns from your book.

Can i use this book on the trumpet?

Yes, you can use this book for trumpet as well. You will have to transpose many patterns to a lower octave though.
