Dude Something doesn't sound right! Its sounds like either your headspeed is too low, or you have bearing going out, or both. either way something was not setup or flying right and caused the heli to fly sluggishly. hope you got it fixed.
i got rid of the s75s in my 450 se v2 as well.with the hs 65 for the cyclics and raising my cyclic rates up to 100% in ccp 2 and 3( ccp 6 is at 65%) in my dx6...everything is way more responsive!
65MG's are good, though I heard the metal wears out pretty quick and you soon get play in the servo. The karbonite's don't wear out as fast, and they can take some good crashes. I've crashed about 5 times all with idle up, and the karbonite gears have held together every crash. You can afford to have replacement gears on hand, at about $6 a set. Dirt cheap!
Nice crash btw, keep trying and don't be afraid of crashing, that's how you get better. And of course the sim.
I used to have s75s on my v2 and they sucked. They caused a ton of crashes. I switched to the jr285s for cyclic and bigger jr digital for the tail and have never looked back. All 4 servos come in a kit.
no those s75's are no good - heaps of bad stories about them on the forums... Get yourself some hitec HS65's and you will be very happy with them... not mega expensive - $35AU each - probably < $30US... 3 of them on cyclic...
i had the same problem, but i didnt crash, first get a bigger tail servo, anyway the anti rotation bracket got in the way with the servo arm, this rendered your ability to give forward cyclic, put a bigger servo arm and that wont happen anymore. good luck!
The s75 servos are fine, but are only rated for 5V, so a separate BEC is generally recommended. They'll be fine on the t-rex for learning to fly (I put them on my friend's), but for 3D, you probably need something a bit more beefy.
Also, I highly recommend taking the flybar weights off and using at least a 12t pinion before attempting anything 3d.
Yes I'm using a DX6 with the S75 servos. I'm wondering if those servos aren't responsive enough to handle 3D. I had a friend fly around and as he tried a flip noticed that the heli wouldn't respond fast enough and dropped in hight, good thing he was high enough. For me, I really wan't ready to do that, just wanted to see if I can. Oh well, its fixed and all ready to go.
I can hear the wind in the background. Didn't sound too windy to fly but maybe too windy to try a flip for the first time...
