I think that all armies should be trained in various dance styles, then when conflict erupts we could just send in our troops to dance around and cheer people up. I mean seriously, how can you be angry while watching this?

Also for international conflicts, we could all send in dance troops (pun intended) and stomp the yard and let unbiased judges decide who wins. I think it makes more sense than killing people anyway. You may say I'm a dreamer.........

Kozaks means soldiers in Ukrainian.. but the choreography production is of the Soviet Union style.. so if you forget the political, nationalistic and linguistic smart ass replies, then it's pretty cool mix that I have enjoyed watching as it shows how human nature doesn't change much - men used to and will continue competing on various levels - let's keep it positive, which dancing art is.

Hallo! If do not know who it, what for people confuse? These are any not cossacks, it is the Moscow's ensemble songs and dancings dressed in the Soviet military form. Shooting was conducted in Moscow, on Vorobievy (ex-Lenin) mountains. Those "pa" which dancers execute is ballet professional movements, are not connected in any way to national dances of Cossacks. Most likely the ensemble dances on a holiday Day of the Victory of the USSR in the second world war.
