I think that was just a rumor. Tillman has that kind of money but I don't think he is willing to give that much to her. Maybe he offered her $100,00 but no more. He is to much of a spoiled bitch. There is another rumor that the parking lot in front of Starbucks is going to be the home to new rides.
I rode it on Saturday with my dad. It was going slooooow and rough. Probably my least favorite Gravity Group coaster yet. -_- I'm sure it is better fast.
I agree with the Voyage being the best woodie on earth. This one is solid top-10, though. Rode it 97 times this weekend. It's wicked fast and furious. My thighs are bruised from hitting the lap bar all weekend.

If I had to pick the 3 best wood coasters in the USA, TxGiant and Rattler wouldn't make the cut. Rattler wouldn't even make the cut for the best 3 woodies in Texas! Giant ROCKS on a good day. If it hasn't rained in awhile, though, it's unridable.

No way. Don't count it for dead! They have already sent out a test train, and crews are on site doing needed repairs.
They said that they are going to give it a "tune up" while they're at it, since it's closed anyway. Should be even faster!
Expect it to be up and running by Valentine's 2009, if not sooner.

When it's slow, it's a little painful and boring.
When it's fast, it's UNBELIEVABLE. One of the most intense coasters around.
