I saw this film when it came out back in 1971 double billed with the Twins of Evil... I saw them recently and they are still very good horror films even by today's standards.

Great film! One of Hammer's best! Trivia note: They filmed all the exteriors on sets left over from Billy Wilder's PRIVATE LIFE OF SHERLOCK HOLMES. Peace, George.
