Which ethnic group are they from? The head gear does not seem like anything I have seen connected with the Zulu? Xhosa, maybe? The chirping was a bit of a surprise, but it fits right in with the context of a celebreatory dance of some sort. I have heard stranger sounds mixed into a musical idiom and work. Love the harmonies of Soputhern Bantu peoples.

A group named "Soul Brothers" (from SA too) recorded the song "BAYEZA" (don´t know what this word means) years ago, in a fine performance, both singing and playing on pop instruments.

dont know what this people done to you but i hope you get some healing. Numerous times on youtube, it's been found that most racist attacks are actually carried out by same color of people in pretense that they are of other colors or culture. i have seen a black guy made racial comments to blacks. even middle estern make similar noises like south african. people often make bad comments to arabians and middle easten too. it's sad that no matter what color of skin you are, people will hate you.
