Lama Zopa is such an illustrious master, shouldering the burden of FPMT. This is a great master, when faced with difficulties, he doesn't flint. May his students have clean samaya that Lama Zopa may live long and continue to turn the wheel of Dharma.
I participated in a 3 days teaching with Lama Zopa in Mexico about 1978 at Mary King´s home. Now it seems He is taking about the nature of manifested existance. This is explained by quantum physics as well., about the true non-locality of material world of objects. Sadly not all His talking in English is clear enough to be understood. (I wonder if his throat cleaning and hoarseness is due to a dairy diet?)
Live long! Live long! LIve long! May I receive teachings at your precious feet quickly again in this life. May I be able to follow exactly your advice. May I wear the robes. Guide me precious Lama. May I never be separated from you. Help me now. May I tirelessly work for others. Bless me to realize the ultimate teaching.
Things do not exist as they appear to us but as they are about without "us", i.e. without separating "us" from "them".
Ying and Yang were the same before we discriminated them creating the dynamic of beginning and end, life and death, high and low ect. Without this attachment, things become what they truly are.
Reality is when Ying and Yang realize that they are one and the same existing based on dependent origination.
I'm so grateful for this video teaching by the most precious & kind Lama Zopa Rinpoche. Slowly slowly the teachings on emptiness are filtering into my mindstream.I found the book by Rinpoche called "How things exist" to be so very helpful.Also in this teaching,the image of the mirage is another way that I will now think about my hallucinations & dependent arisings-may I one day,achieve full understanding of this & enlightenment for the benefit for all other sentient beings!I bow down to Rinpoche
