Have another read of Exodus chapters 7 through 12. It's one of the most appalling stories in literature. God hardens Pharaoh's heart repeatedly, then brings these horrible plagues, then kills the eldest son of EVERY Egyptian household and of their slaves, their prisoners, even their livestock, and all so that he can show off his magical powers. There was not one home without a death. AND God had his people rob the Egyptians before they left. With a god like that, who needs enemies?

It is clear that man was created on the "sixth day". On the seventh God rested. So this clearly shows that there were men on the earth but none to till the ground.

Clearly men were not given the knowledge of farming, there would not be a man to till the ground.
Verses Gen 1:27 -28 says that God created man and woman and told them to multiply. In contrast, verses Gen 2:18-20 gives a different account. According to this, Adam was originally meant to be alone. It wasn't until after creating all the animals for Adam to see and name that God created Eve
In verses Gen 1:24 - 28 it states that man was created after the animals. Verses Gen 2:18 - 20 seem to be a direct contradiction unless you realize were reading about two different times, places and people.

The main conclusion that I can draw from Genesis is that the entire Human race is a result of incest. Adam and Eve had two sons, Cain and Abel. Cain impregnated his "wife" and a son Enoch was born. Hey wait a minute....the only woman on earth at this point was his mother,Eve (yes,apart from killing his own brother, Cain was a motherfucker!). I'd like to add that the Bible is a giant prophecy of the repeating behavior of everyone in the world. Simpler versions of the Bible put the text into more commonly used language of today and this will reveal that the Bible is echoing our yelling and giving the cure for our pain as well. That is how you know the Bible is real. You can even compare it to other peoples lives to see that it is very common since most people don't pay attention to what they are doing.
False stories? How do you know they were false? I believe they are true because God tells me to. When I was first baptized, He was like an anti-depressant with no side effects. He introduced Himself to me and I found Him Amazing! He made me happy with nothing except His spiritual/emotional presence! I'm not so sure about that, tartarus (the part about God not wanting anyone to go to Hell). I used to believe that because it's what I was taught, but if you study the Bible more you'll see that God does not wish for everyone to be saved. The Cambrian "Explosion" was a process that took hundreds of millions of years. A theory is the highest you get in science. There aren't any contradictions. Sure there are some flaws, but gravity has more flaws. Do you not believe in gravity?
The point is that many people have only been exposed to the good parts of the bible and not the bad. Us atheists take the bible for what it is. The bible says what it says, not what we want or think it says. There are many parts of the bible that people are not taught in Sunday School. Actually, in the early days of the church only the church leaders were allowed to read the bible, not the common people.

FYI those weird laws, rules, etc., from Leviticus ("to the Levites"), do not apply to you. The book is about specific rules for a specific group of people during a specific time in history.

Who was Cain's wife? It's logical that if as a member of Adam's family is not mentioned, other humans, who were of virtually no importance to the story at hand wouldn't be mentioned either.

The main conclusion that I can draw from Genesis is that the entire Human race is a result of incest. Adam and Eve had two sons, Cain and Abel. Cain impregnated his "wife" and a son Enoch was born. Hey wait a minute....the only woman on earth at this point was his mother,Eve (yes,apart from killing his own brother, Cain was a motherfucker!). Even worse was the fact that Enoch went on to bare a son called Erad which means he must have fucked his Grandmother Eve! No wonder we are all born sinners!

I'd like to add that the Bible is a giant prophecy of the repeating behavior of everyone in the world. Simpler versions of the Bible put the text into more commonly used language of today and this will reveal that the Bible is echoing our yelling and giving the cure for our pain as well. That is how you know the Bible is real. You can even compare it to other peoples lives to see that it is very common since most people don't pay attention to what they are doing.

False stories? How do you know they were false? I believe they are true because God tells me to. When I was first baptized, He was like an anti-depressant with no side effects. He introduced Himself to me and I found Him Amazing! He made me happy with nothing except His spiritual/emotional presence! Because He isn't earthly, His unbound spirit filled me and lifted the worldly depression I had, and now He is the only one I have a friendship with. He can see beyond the boundaries that blind us.

Ok here it is im just gonna let you know. God does not do anything evil. Humans, by our sin sow seeds that eventually satan uses against us. Satan is the real enemy here people and if your not with God then by default your with Satan and eternal damnation. i dont want anyone to go to hell and i know God doesnt want anyone to go to hell. So if you ever want to just recognize that jesus died on the cross for you and you will spend eternity in the presence of perfect love.

I'm not so sure about that, tartarus (the part about God not wanting anyone to go to Hell). I used to believe that because it's what I was taught, but if you study the Bible more you'll see that God does not wish for everyone to be saved. Also, I've learned that it isn't about a person just recognizing that Jesus died for them, rather, God chooses when and IF the Holy Spirit will work with any given person. I hope I'm wrong, cause I still don't know where I stand on all this.

The Bible never says that the Sun had an orbit. It says that the Earth is round and flat in different parts of the book. Wrong, laws are still theories. And ok, i'm glad you defer to a 2000 year old book instead of cutting edge science which is testable.

The point is that many people have only been exposed to the good parts of the bible and not the bad. Us atheists take the bible for what it is. The bible says what it says, not what we want or think it says. There are many parts of the bible that people are not taught in Sunday School. Actually, in the early days of the church only the church leaders were allowed to read the bible, not the common people.

I have been to many different types of churches. They all cherry-pick the bible. I said almost willing to give, that is not the same as giving. You did not say that you knew that Lot was raped by his daughters. If the bible is literally true then the world is flat, it isn't, The world is 6,000 years old, it isn't, a serpent can talk and they cannot. Moden Science has disproved the bible. I has never known a church that allows its people to think for themselves.

Which church teaches the whole bible. Lot's two daughters got their father drunk, had sex and kids after the two cities were destroyed (Genesis 19:30-38). I am almost willing to bet a thousand dollars that you do not know that is in the bible. No church ever mentions about the polygamy and genocide in the Old Testament. They only talk about the parts that they like.

FYI those weird laws, rules, etc., from Leviticus ("to the Levites"), do not apply to you. The book is about specific rules for a specific group of people during a specific time in history.
We use our human "logic" to try to figure out why God said or did certain things, and a lot of it is confusing and seems immoral or evil.
...that being said, I still don't know if I believe it or not.. :p
