Zero= jumpsuit, Varia/Normal= regular Samus orange suit, Fusion= eco-friendly metroid-infused blue n yellow suit. Gosh, that hard? Kudos to everyone who already said this before me, and the people who already know this, to save the inconsistent trolling.
That is the fusion suit dude... Its the result of the armor being surgically removed. The zero suit on ssbb (super smash bros brawl) is correct. Play the metroid prime series and you will know the truth. Know your stuff before saying something is wrong or right.
so Metroid: other M is based before this? Man I gotta play all the games I've only played Metroid Prime on GC and Ive got the sequel but I havent played that yet.
Btw, that is NOT the Zero Suit. The Zero Suit is the blue skin tight jumpsuit she wears underneath the Power Suit. The suit she wears in this game is the Fusion Suit. They look similar, but there are obvious differences between the two that make them dramatically different.
Listen, Metroid Prime's the shit, but I really think it's time to make a Metroid Fusion sequel. I guess they don't know what to do about it now that they've trashed the old famous Varia suit and left Samus a half-Metroid with a vastly altered Power Suit design... Perhaps, now that Metroids are extinct (or so they seem), SR388 is history and Ridley truly is dead now, Retro feels the game has no basis for a sequel... all the old familiar elements of the game have been totally altered...
The MP3 appearance is extremely short: it's only in the ending cinematic. And now I'm actually wondering if you seeing her in the zero suit might not depend in your score... Anyway, you can see it here: watch?v=8pQtbFidSf0&feature=related
Actually that is not supposed to be the zero suit. The zero suit IS the suit in brawl (which also appears in zero mission, BTW). I believe the suit she is wearing is called the "fusion suit"
@uvauva2 I should double-check my copy of the manual to see what it says, because I know Samus has three different suits over the course of the game. It seems like the one in Brawl is based off the one in this game, though, because they're both blue (and Samus usually wears orange).
Sorry, but if you are claiming the zero suit from brawl is in any way based on this one that is just wrong. The fusion suit actually kind of appears in Brawl but only as an alternate color scheme (the same goes for the gravity suit (and I think, but don't quote me on this, the phazon suit from MP1)).
In fact, brawl is by no means the first appearance of the skin tight zero suit (that samus always seems to use with a ponytail). Previous appearances (at least the ones I've played) are Metroid: Zero mission (there is a segment of this game that is actually played in the zero suit and during which samus is armed only with a stun gun. Just like in Brawl) and Metroid Prime 3 (although in this second case the suit is not playable)
@uvauva2 Awesome! I don't remember having that suit in Metroid Prime 3, but you seem like you know what you're talking about (moreso than me). I'm not a big Super Smash Brothers fan.

@uvauva2 Oh, okay. Okay. I never beat the game because the final boss battle was too hard (it's easier to just watch the ending on Youtube).
