@vvcipher Dead Space is an action and survival horror game, its theme is dark, gory and definitely silently scary. Mass Effect is a tactical duck-and-cover shooter with plenty of enemies who know how to stay away from your bullets and shoot you when you're out of cover - and it employs a variety of special powers of the player and his/her squadmates (henchmen, you say) to combat. I have played both, and I can assure you it is spurious to make comparison between these two giants.

I see people asking with a dual core processor you're able to play a lot of games but watch it for games that are made in 2011, you'd better look for a new prossesor.

buy an i7 or something, its the latest on the market for non gamers, its like 8x dual core if I recall correctly so it should work good enough ;o

A really fun game recommend it runs very smooth on my laptop my specs are way above the recommendation so it's perfectly playable for me hell I can even max crysis 2 on it with smooth gameplay

Hey guys i have a question.I am debating whether to buy mass effect 3 on PC or xbox 360. I have a Nvidia 8800 GT(Ihave a 2 quadcore with 4 mb of ram as well). I know that is a relatively old processor but I am sure it has better processing power than the xbox 360. However do PC games just require better processors or will my computer just lag if it is just mets the minimum requirement? Thanks in Advance!

I was able to beat this game with a Radeon HD3200 chipset, and an AMD Athlon 2,1GHz Processor and 4GB DDR2 memory, but that was in a resolution of 1024x600 (16:9 ratio) and an Average FPS of 8 or 10 FPS. So that was quite painful, and i don't recommend anyone else to play it that way. I'm gonna replay it when a get a new laptop.

I was surprised how well my PC could run this game. My PC is around 12 months out of date, yet it still plays flawlessly with full graphics. Kudos to Bioware.

Unreal Engine 3 works very well on a lot of hardware.

Mass Effect 2 recommends a 9800GT which dates back to 2007.

YOu are right this game is not for PS3, but there are numerous diferences as far as graphs go...360 plays it on 1080p, no Aaliasing and no filtering either.

I play this on 1900x1200 with x4 anti aliasing, x8 filtering..some PC games can go as far as x16 and 2560px1900!
