The most terrifying part of that crash was after the initial flip, when Dixon's car hit Franchitti. The shape of the noses, namely shaped like jet fighters, makes it inevitably by inches, or lightning reaction times on breaks, that Dixon didn't spear Franchitti's car, and possibly Franchitti himself, in two.

I usually root for the underdogs in IndyCar racing rather than Dario Frachitti, even though I'm a fellow Scotsman, but I have to say he earned my respect today. After he stalled his car in the pit, and then came all the way back from dead last to retake the lead I was amazed, talk about a comeback. Then seeing him involved in this dangerous accident, it's a shame but I'm glad that everyone's alright. Get them next weekend Dario!
