Joe Satriani plays Ibanez guitars, same as Steve Vai. I believe Ibanez gets them custom made for them. But that really isn't that much of a concern; if he was playing a broomstick with a few strings attached, it would sound amazing too.

i think it´s a custom JS1200 or something similiar, cuz he likes playing the JS1200 a lot. One thing is for sure -> it's an Ibanez :)

I wouldn't say Joe is not as good because, Mozart was in a different time period completely. Joe expresses his talent through rock and Mozart did through what is now called classical. But I would say Joe is the most talented guitarist and musician of our time. This song has so much beautiful emotion of friendship and unity you could tell without knowing the name of the title. His talents are endless and are always getting better.
