I have been wanting some braids or twists in my hair for a few weeks now, I tried and stopped so many times. When you said you wanted mini twists I said AHA now I will do them I got started on the same spot you started I stopped after braid five. LOL

I did mine on Sunday! Girl it took forever. I wouldn't say mine are mini though. More like small. It took about 4 hours. yes I am dreading the take out. I'm going to leave them for 1.5 weeks. i'm also taking pics of how I'm styling them so I can do a video slideshow

@MsRosieVelt girl no it was horrendous lol. I started to make them a little bigger toward the front because i was getting tired! At the end of 7 days I will share pics of how I styled them each day and then I'm taking these bad boys OUT!

I tried mini twists, but the problem that I have is that in certain sections, because my hair is so soft, it unravels no matter how tight I twist it. I have to use larger twists. Its fine for the crown and side, but the back always is unraveling. Maybe when my hair gets as long as yours, it won't unravel so quickly. Your son will be 5 in Feb, what day? My son will be 10 in Feb too. We got a lot in common. :-) The outfit is cute, but I do understand about needing longer sleeves.

@CharliGirl868 Girl I always need longer sleeve shirts. I just have really long arms and fingers. LOL. Yes Mr. Man will be 5 next month and he can't wait. It's amazing how you have those totally different textures. Maybe the twists will stay when your hair gets a little longer.
