What about the glaciers in glacier national park? I was there this summer and a new baby forest is spirnging up on mountains where there was none before, and looking at other mountains one could see that the snow line used to be lower quite recently and it has since moved higher. One glacier at one of the outlooks looked like it had complily disappered! and all over the park they had signs that showed the retreat of the glacier over the past decades.

I did hear about the 12 states having record low temperatures, but it was on the Weather Channel. I don't think newspapers would report that, although they should have.
The Sun were more active from 1960-1995 and because of that - an almost global warming were blooming. But now... our Sun i VERY quiet The Earth is suffering a global cooling right now. Global cooling is total fantasy. Its fans can't provide a single real science reference to back themselves up. Meanwhile...here is a paper with the overwhelming evidence that European wild plants are reacting to INCREASES in temperatures caused by climate change.

Why don't you do some serious research instead of repeating what you hear on TV. The Antartic ice shelf is not melting. Who is my source? David Bromwich, head of the Polar Meteorology Group of the Byrd Polar Research Center. Are his credentials good enough for you or do you think Al Gore is a more reputable scientist? Who stand to gain from the Global warming scam? The government, stupid!...who will eventually tax you for every single molecule of carbon dioxide you release into the atmosphere.

The difference is that the numbskull in the video has some internet freaks and the odd retired weatherman to back him up, while Al Gore has every respectable science institution on Earth behind him saying the same thing: climate change is real, we are the cause.
If I'm wrong, tell us all which credible science institution has taken a stand against the IPCC and the anthropogenic climate change theory? Give us a reference to the peer reviewed research which supports the chump in this video.

What are his qualifications? None. He is an architect. That emissions wouldn't affect climate is a stretch. Why is polar ice melting? Why is the antarctic iceshelf melting? Who stands to gain by a huge global warming conspiracy while big money stands to gain by its denial? Why was industry paying people to deny warming? Glaciers are not growing-what is his source? There is none. He made it up. Notice the lack of sources, notice no specifics in relation to worldwide glacial activity.
I think he means when Jupiter, Saturn AND Uranus & Neptune are in the same quadrant-every 179 years. This was last in the 1970s, and was exploited to achieve the Voyager 2 mission which visited all the giant planets.
Be aware that if you live in the nothern hemisphere . This winter will not be mild. It may even be the coldest you have ever know.
