I believe that some film company owns the rights to Off Season but have never been able to put a movie together. Mr Ketchum says that in a vid on YouTube. Check it out.

No, it's coming afterwards. Some 'troubles' with the copyrights. They couldn't get those from Off Season yet. Don't know the details, but I guess they SO wanted to make an adaptation but couldn't get any better but getting the copyright for THIS one. Ketchum does a statement about this on another Youtube video. Check it out.
