FMA (kali) is already almost 8oo years old.. It use ti be a bladed weopon fight, but during the colonial period weapons were banded so the use stick as another alternative.. But today Its back!!

it seems to me that this guy throws a pose like vogue with rigidity of an action figure. He loses the flow ,speed, and fluidity which are trademarks of a seasoned FCS practitioner... The guy may have good balance but you don't ever give a false sense of security and mentality of cut and dried moves and techniques... reality fights are messy, aggressive and lethal

Thanks for posting this. The video editing at the beginning is a bit annoying, but the slow motions later make it worthwhile. it demonstrate a great experience in handling knives and fighting them.

The FCS Family no longer recognizes Micheal Kossivakis as a Representative of Filipino Combat Systems anywhere in the world. FCS no longer recognizes Michael Kossivakis as a member of the family. FCS will no longer do seminars promoted by Michael Kossivakis. Nor will or FCS do any seminars for any person, school, or group who deals with Michael Kossivakis. Furthermore, Michael Kossivakis is no longer welcome at any FCS event. This is from January 2009 so be nice and change the video title ;-)

I don't think you know what you are saying. FMA has been used even before Magellan invaded the Philippines. It has been tried and tested with blood. I am from Cebu where lots of different styles have always been fighting in the streets of Cebu. So its not just shit. Why don't you try our Bahad and see where you can keep up.

@lordswit6666 maybe... i am practice japanese budo since many years and the way handle a knife in my art is a very different one to this here. well.. ask 1000 fighters for anti-knife tactics and you will get 1000 different answers.
