Wow.. Just.. Wow.. You have NO idea how many cops I see riding solo in the HOV lane. Not to mention that I think pulling people over for that is an absolute waste of time and money. Is it really going to make a difference to the flow of traffic if I have a passenger or not? Really..
@lowrider5140 If it didn't make a difference, than there wouldn't be HOV lanes on our highways. During off-peak times "cheaters" don't cause a problem, but during rush hour they do. HOV lanes are put in place to reward drivers who aren't SOV, by giving them their own lane. During rush hour I wish they were there every day, and so does everyone else who uses HOV lanes in Vancouver.

So, what is the point of these HOV lines seriously?
they create unnecessary congesion, therefore risk and frustration
they create more polution
they create more danger since people are fed up with our so called highways here in BC and try to sneak
they are paid just as the other lanes from our tax dollars
So, can someone explain what is the point of having a 3 line hwy build and paid but be allowed to use only 2 of them??? Europe does not have them and have way better traffic and highways.
