  • THANKS SOOO MUCCHHHH!!! it was the loose wiring. you are a life saver. my father was about to murder me.

  • @ClaytonCarmine99 Ha-ha, well I'm glad this helped you out.

  • I ordered the JG M4A1 enhanced version. When I first unboxed it, I plugged the battery in right away. About a hour later I was impatient and test shot it. It shot great. So I plugged the battery back. About four hours later I connected it too my gun but it dident shoot. I then tried the battery in my Thompson and it shot great. I really hope this is a small problem and someone can help me fix it.

  • @BGBx If the battery works in another rifle then the problem is most likely electrical. First, double check that the battery is properly connected and that all the wires going to both the rifle's and battery's connectors are not loose. Try firing the rifle in both fire modes since if you release the trigger at just the right time in semi auto the gearbox will not start again until you switch to full auto. Try checking the fuse as it shows in the video as well as the wiring to the motor.

  • my brand-new gun's battery will only work with one other battery. And even with that battery, the gun will stop shooting after a bout 15 mins of firing. After that, i can here it trying to shoot when i pull the trigger, but it just wont shoot again for a while. Im wondering wether it is a fuse, battery,or wiring problem Thanks

  • @TheTextClan It almost sounds like the battery isn't being charged. If the rifle will fire for a short while and then stop, only to fire a few more times after you wait a little while, chances are the battery is dead and needs to be recharged. You might want to make sure your charger is working correctly.

  • hello. i recentally bought a mp5 bt5a3. my friend had told me it was broken, and it was the piston was shredded. that is not my problem however (i bought a new piston), my problem is that when i plug in my battery, the gear do a quick jolt and it offsets my new piston and therefore the shooting is of (i am firing 2-3 rounds on semi-auto and they only go a few feet).

  • Hey i have a JG M4 s-system and i accidenty pulled the trigger while on saftey ( long story ) and now it wont do anything in semi or fullauto. Also i charged the battery and it still didnt work what should i do?

  • @3picAirsoft If the rifle stopped functioned right after pulling the trigger on safety then something most likely broke inside of the gearbox. That unfortunately would require disassembly of the gearbox.

  • oh thanks but the mags noy having problems feeding its the electrical work

  • @campinggear1 Ok, so if the rifle keeps cutting in and out (electrical) then you probably have a loose connection somewhere. At that point you just have to start tracing the wires back through the rifle to find the troublemaker.

  • i have a vfc 416 (is that good i would like to know)) and i have a brand new 5000 miliamps 9.6 volt battery and i charged it on a smart charger for about an hour it shoots some time and if i turn the gun upside down help please its a high quality gun whats the problem

  • @campinggear1 Do you have a high capacity magazine by chance? If it is making a firing sound but only shoots out BBs when you hold it upside-down, you probably are not winding the magazine enough or do not have enough BBs in the magazine. Please click on my name and then view the video about high capacity magazines on my channel.

  • @banbsmith87 That could be many things. Dirty barrel, low grade BBs, BBs that are too light, torn hop-up, damaged barrel, etc. I would start by cleaning the barrel and making sure you are using high polished BBs that are at least .2g. Typically if the rifle shoots over 350 fps w/ .2g you would want to use .25g or heavier for best accuracy.

  • I have a JG G36E and have replaced my fuse, charged my battery (2 actually) and tested on my gun but still doesn't work.... I guess the wiring in the motor is a problem but how do I reatach the wire to my motor in a G36?

  • @loliamapie Usually if the wires are not connected to the motor with blade connectors they are soldered on.

  • ive gone tho and took the entire gear box itself apart and nothing is broken. the battery does in fact work.i cant really tell if the motor is pushing against the gears tho...i was gonna get a more paowerful batery to see if thats the problem

  • im having trouble with my echo 1 m16. even with a fuly charged battery it wont shoot and makeing a small clicking sound

  • @pizzaguyman13 That could be a number of things unfortunately. I'd start by verifying that your battery does in fact work in other guns. If so then it could be that a gear has broken and is jamming the gearbox, or it might need to be reshimmed, or maybe something has gone wrong with the motor. It is unlikely that the motor height is the issue although you could try backing the motor height out some. If the motor is pushed into the gears too hard it could jam the gearbox.

  • i have a kraken ak and i swithed batterys my friend dropped it in a puddle i have no idea how or what to do to fix it. any ideas?

  • I'm having a problem with my kwa km4 ris when I pull the trigger it makes a clicking noise and the motor wires are connected what do you think is the problem? Also the fuse is fine too

  • @FredErikson911 If you haven't already, try a different battery or at least try that battery in a different rifle to insure it works. If you find out the battery is working fine then unfortunately something has probably broken inside of the gearbox which has jammed it. If so then it is typically a broken tooth off of a gear.

  • I'm having a similar problem to the people that have "clicking" M4s, mine won't shoot. Charged the battery for four hours, nothing. Help?

  • I have a CYMA Thompson M1A1 and it stopped working. I have confirmed that the motor is the problem, but all of the wires are connected and everything. I think it might be the wiring inside the motor itself...sometimes (randomly) it will fire again if i jiggle around the motor and stuff, and I'm fairly convinced it isn't faulty wiring. I'm not quite sure what to do though, and I'm hoping I won't have to replace the motor. Any suggestions?

  • fuck can anyone help me my fuse is in some white cover thing and idk how to get it out!

  • my gun is not firing at all- as the spade connectors going to the motor were phucked- so I have put new ones of those on, still didn't work- I now see that the fuse is dead, so I have tried bridging the gap with a nail, and still it doesn't work! Will putting a new fuse in make it work, or is there something wrong with my battery, motor connectors, or motor itself- or trigger contacts!!!

  • Hi I have a G&G scar L and when i pull the trigger it makes a tinny tiny muffled sound but not like its jammed. I checked the fuse and it was blown so I bypassed it and still nothing. what could be wrong?

  • Sorry for the barrage of questions guys but where is the motor located on a weapon like... say, your M14 Scout AEG?

  • @PivotStudiosXE It is located in the narrow section of the stock in-between the buttstock and forend.

  • Hey i have an agm m4 stubby killer and it had a crane stock but switched to stubby stock but the trigger wont pull all the way back why is this?

  • @ryando67 I'm not sure what could be causing the trigger issue however it should not have been caused by simply changing a stock. There could be something causing the internal safety block to stick or something could have come apart inside and is blocking the trigger.

  • where is it on a agm m4 stubby killer with crane stock for the fuse box?

  • my j4 m4a1 still yields no response. any tips?

  • My motor wont come out of the pistol grip. I've removed it before but now its jammed. I'm wiggling and pulling as hard as i can! Please Help

  • Hmm.. that's really all you can do. It has to be jammed at a strange angle so you'll just have to find that sweet spot to get it out. Try pressing down and changing angles before pulling it and you should be able to get it out.

  • my guns fuse and motor connections are fine but when i fire, nothing comes out and it makes a high pitched sqealing noise or no sound at all. I've tried adjusting the motor height but can't get it to the right sound. Any help?

  • Where is the fuse located on the UTG AK-47 Paratrooper?

  • The fuse on the Paratrooper (AK-47S) is a little different. It is located under the battery tray. You have to take off the hop-up adjustment tab, then unhook the bolt spring guide from the square peg at the back, then remove the small screw on the right edge of the battery tray. Then you just have to pull back a little on the battery tray to unlock it and then lift the whole tray up.

  • umm im havin a little problem wit ma new echo 1 m4a1 carbine. i'd been shootin it a couple of times but now it won't shoot. i think i'd let go of the trigger a bit early. now it won't shoot & makes a very silent click noise when i pull the trigger. i also tried shootin in auto, but same result. i checked ma fuse & it's perfectly fine. idk if ma battery is low, so im charging it right now... i wud appreciate if u answer ma questions & helpin me out wit ma problems. thanksss!

  • It is possible the battery just needs to be recharged. If you think you let go of the trigger just before it was going to fire then the piston is probably all of the way back so it will take everything the battery has to get the gearbox moving again. Hopefully charging your battery up solved it but if not see if you can use someones 9.6v battery and see if that is enough to get it going.

  • My P90 (Echo 1) is making a noise like it's firing, but it just loads the bbs into it and they roll out the barrel. Please help?

  • My jg m4a1 keeps clicking every time I shoot. No bbs come out the barrel. I tried asking on yahoo but peoe kept cursing at me and that I should buy a real m4. I'm only 14!! But yeah If you know what I should do please comment back

  • try using only .2 gram bbs. .12 will damage your aeg

  • I figured out what was wrong. My gears weren't timed correctly so it wouldn't shoot. Then my motor broke cause of the bad timing of the gears. I went to a shop that sells elctric motors and I got one for 6 bucks. Gun works great but the rpm sucks

  • I have the same problem do you know what to do?

  • With the gears or the motor? My gears were stuck. So I opened up my gearbox an shimme my gears

  • I thought it might be that my battery wasn't charged enough as my gun is new. Do i have to open my gearbox up?

  • try charging the battery if it is not charged. if u have just bought the gun go back to the shop or call the sight and tell them that the gun is not working properly

  • I'm charging the battery now, I've contacted the website i bought it off but i havent had a reply yet. Its to late to return it as earlier today i opend it up thinking i could fix it.

  • that sucks. do u have any airsoft shops near u that u can go to and get it fixed? what type of gun is it? maybe i can help u

  • There arnt any that are close to me. Its an SRC M4A1, i got it of action hobbies for £150 so im kinda pissed

  • petrucciguy here again, how can you tell if the motor is burnt out? I think that's the problem on my m4. Thanks!

  • so if it isn't any of the problems shown on this video than it must be in the gearbox?

  • my m4's battery wire got messed up. if there a way to fix it

  • That would really depend what you mean by messed up. If it is cut then you can typically splice it back together.

  • Its not cut its a different part were a piece of rubbery plastic keeps the wire together .

  • The part of the wire that is connecting some brass thing to the wire. and it split apart the thing got unsticky

  • My E90 gun is making a clicking sound and not firing and then firing 8 - 10 bb's at a time? Any suggestions for a fix?

  • Well, except for the clicking it would sound like the gun is jamming. In case that is what is going on try watching our video on the E90 break down and pull your barrel off. Clear any BBs out and then put it back on the gun. Turn your hop up all the way down and give it another try. Make sure you are using high polished BBs weighing at least .2g. If the rifle fires slowly start increasing your hop up until you get it to the right level. If it jams again, try lubing your barrel lightly.

  • My gun is just making a whiny noise in semi and full auto does any1 have a suggsetion on what i should do to fix it my gun is a M4 bought from shortyusa

  • You may need to adjust the motor height. Usually, there is a screw of some kind on the bottom of the pistol grip, and most of the time it will be in the middle. Just take a tool and adjust that screw. Try both clock and counterclockwist twists. If you need some help, check out airsoftgidotcom's channel. It has a video on how to adjust your motor.

  • Or, you can see our video on AEG motor adjustment listed on our youtube channel. By following the instructions in the video you should be able to get your rifle working again if that is the issue.

  • yeah you should ajust the motor height all you have to do is tighten or loosen the screws on the bottom of the pistol grip where the motor is found and after you loosen it a little fire the gun and when you tighten it do the same thing and keep doing it untill your gun makes the right noise

  • Can someone help me. My airsoft ak spets, TM, doesnt shoot any more, when I pull trigger all it does is clicking noise, and the motor seems to make a slight movement (grip area). Please help!

  • me too only with a jg / csi ak-47s help someone please

  • dude thanks so much for this video..my seperater cap was missing and i didnt know there had to be one. i went and got one and its back in working order thanks so much

  • are aegs' hardest to keep in good condition? cuz u have to do stuff witht eh battery and motor and all that stuff or is gas gun hardest

  • Gas guns are typically the most frustrating to operate since they can be affected a lot by the weather. Electric guns are actually pretty easy to use.

  • actualy gas guns are harder to maintein.

  • My Mp5a4's trigger gets stuck evrdy single time i use full auto but when i use semi-auto as fast as i can it doesnt get stuck. Please Help!!

  • I have a M15A4 is the motor located in the grip too?

  • my friend has the UTG Mp5 AEG, and the stock fuse burnt out a few months ago. then we replaced it but we didn't use a 250v 20 amp fuse we used a different fuse not exact to 20a 250 volts and the gun stopped functioning. is 20 a 250volt fuse a required size for proper AEG function?

  • You should always use the exact fuse that's in the AEG. You wouldn't just use a random piece of metal in your electric system at home would you? Same thing. It's designed after very spesific measurments and can't take much variations.

  • do you sell spare fuses?

  • No but you can find them pretty easily at places like Radio Shack.

  • thanks

  • my g36k will only fire sometime i tightend the motor and every thing. it is not the fuse because ocasionly it will fire but really only good on auto semi only work 25% of the time and it is not the battery i dont want to take it apart only if i have to so need help please

  • hey shorty, i got an MP5 one day ago and it wont fire, i charged the battery and flled the mag but the bb's wont go into the gun what do you think is up?????

    PLZ RESPOND

  • i got my well mp5 r5 and i charged the battery and all, but it doesnt shoot. wat do u think might be wrong with it. pls respond

  • Hey Shorty, I'm trying some google searches, where can I find some fuses.. I just found out the 25 dollar ICS MP5 i bought from my friend doesnt have a fuse..

  • You can typically find them at electronics stores like Radio Shack. Go to their website and do a search for a 250v 20 amp fuse. You can use either the glass ones or the ceramic ones.

  • Ah thank you, I really hope this works, other wise I may sell the gun for triple what I bought it for, fund me a Echo 1 Ak or CA M41 Officer!

  • ya i got my ECHO 1 vector arms MOD47 full metal airsoft rifle and it wouldnt shoot when i charged it i think the fuse is blown or its a bad battery

  • Thanks for that, I fixed my UTG Full Metal M4 Commando AEG Airsoft Rifle!

  • I have a problem with my TSD m4. When I put the battery in (even fully charged) all the gun does is click in the motor area or do nothing. sometimes the motor and battery will heat up. I've taken the steps in the video and still nothing has worked. plz help!!!

  • Unfortunately that is probably something a little more major. I'd try a different battery if you have access to one to see if that is the issue first. If not then you probably either have a burnt out motor or a broken gear.

  • i have an echo 1 mp5a4 ris vector arms, and it is not functioning properly. The first round i shoot will shoot with the righ power but will curve left greatly, and every shot after that either shoots really slow and short or doesnt shoot at all and makes a muffled sound. My battery is fully charged and working but i do not have a spacer disc in the grip of my gun by the motor. it was recently working properly then all of a sudden this happened. your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

  • Your gun is jamming. What grade and weight of BB's are you using in it?

  • ive used only .2 and .25 gram KSC my entire time of use

  • I'd try lowering the hop up first just in case it is up so high that it is coking the barrel. If that doesn't do it next I would try lubricating and cleaning the barrel. If it still doesn't work correctly and you are using KSC BB's I'd guess that the hop up bucking is torn.

  • You're quite welcome! We'll be coming out with a few more technical videos soon so be sure to check those out too.

  • The wires in my CYMA 031 Ver.2 are in place because they are wielded on the termianls

  • I'm not sure if you still check this, but I have bought the Echo 1 Mp5-J from your online store. I haven't used it in a game yet, but I have fired it. At 50 feet, one shot will hit the target dead on, and another will hit a foot and a half away. I am using .2g BB's, do I need .25's? It has not been upgraded. I also bought two 90 round midcap magazines with it, but one won't feed.

  • Inconsistent accuracy and jamming magazines could be from the grade of BB you are using. The .2g BB is made in several different grades. AEGs should only be used with high polished BBs to avoid jamming and performance issues. If youre not using high polished, try that first. If you are already using them then please put in a RMA request so we can take a look at it.

P.S. As far as your jammed magazine, try slapping the side of it down against a hard surface to help jar the spring loose.

  • befoer u made this video did u just go through and sabtoge the whole gun lol

  • i think ive overcharged it because it stopped shooting after charging. what do i do?

  • Overcharging would only affect that battery unless you blew the guns fuse while attempting to fire it. Try a different battery and if that doesnt work you should change out the fuse and try it again.

  • I think reason why my gun is on safety is because I burned my gun. just the other day I used my D boy 8.4V 1500mAH which I think burned the fuse

  • is it possible to by a fuse that wont blow and isnt to expensive

  • You actually want the fuse to blow. The fuse blows so your guns wiring system doesnt burn up. If your fuse keeps blowing there is either a problem with the gun, the battery or you have a lower amp fuse than you should be running. Most AEGs use 250v 20amp fuses however some still come with 15amp fuses which can heat up and blow when used with a high output battery. In which case switching to a 20amp fuse would most likely solve that issue.

  • will removing the base plate from the pistol grip void my warranty on my aeg?

  • If the gun is still under warranty it is suggested to contact the company you purchased it from before attempting to troubleshoot it on your own. Taking off the base plate could be viewed as dissassembly so it is better to be on the safe side and ask first.

  • my fuse broke out of the box

  • Nice vid, I got a problem. Just installed a new spring and spring guard in my CA MP5. When assembled again it fired one shot and then wouldn't shoot again.

I can hear a sound from the motor every time I pull the trigger and I felt that the battery cord was getting warm so I disconnected it.

Any tips on what it may be? I'm guessing that the motor wasn't tucked in correctly or that I messed up when assembling the gearbox (I reeeeaaally don't wanna open that monster again).

  • Well, first I would be sure your battery is charged and that it has a high enough of an output to run the new spring. As long as you know for sure that the spring isnt too strong for your current set up (a CA can take up to an M120 without further modification) then it sounds as though something has locked up the gears. This could be a number of things from incorrect shimming to a broken tooth. Unfortunately the only way to find out is to open it back up again. Sorry dude, that sucks

  • what is 'shimming'?

  • This is bery helpful. Thanks =D
