@miguelthedog I would not waste your time nor mine on YouTube saying something was available when it really isn't...lol I never go to the playstation store either, but something recently made me go in there. That's when I saw this game in there. Apparently they have a lot of the old PS1 games available for download on the PS3 and PSP (your choice) for a few bucks each. Let me know how it plays...I have yet to download it. :)

For a game nearly 15 years old, the physics in this game is still incredibly realistic, arguably more so than most current-gen games, cars crash, handle and spin very realistically, and I like how the cars had their own little idiosyncrasies, the Leaner Driver always used to drive around the tracks backwards. Graphically, it's help up quite well too. I'm surprised.

@wolborg2 I first had the game on PC and there were no cars to your left. I always got easy points by going right and getting a 360 on that car. On PC there are only 16 cars per race, playstation has the full 20 cars.

Yes I also have it on the Sega Saturn (I had it on that first) but the PSX version is superior for a few reasons. The biggest one being system link play that was a great deal of fun!
