Note, I could not see any information about the intro of the Forward Bolt Assist feature. It does explain exactly why the three-round burst was implemented. If you've ever tried to shoot a full-auto gun at any target (much less moving), you notice bullets fly EVERYWHERE! Even at 25m away you got rounds landing 1-3m away from the target! I'd rather have the last bullet in my gun!

Full auto on a rifle is shit at any significant range.  Single fire or two round burst is most effective, I don't know what the third in a three round burst plans on hitting. With the SAW and other support weapons which are mounted or have bipods, automatic fire can be usefull.

First is the ATF Form 4 for the Class 3 weapon status. The dealer you buy from has these. Once approved by the feds, then yes, I do believe you will need approval from your local highest-ranking police official (i.e. Sheriff). You may also need a local handgun permit for items like the MAC-10. Best to ask a dealer selling Class 3 weapons in your area as I cannot remember the steps exactly.

To further clarify, a cannon would be classified as a Destructive Device. A semi-auto AR-15 would be a simple Long Gun, just like a Shotgun. The M-4, however, has a sub-class of Machine Gun and requires a Class III tax stamp and background check from the A.T.F.

Nice firearms. I personally out of that group have only shot the AK47(semi auto) and the MP5(full auto).  I also shot an UZI(full auto), sort of similar to the MAC-10, with some major differences of course. Those weapons I rent from Manchester Firing Line Range, in Manchester, NH. They have a M249 on the wall, but unfortunately it is on the personal collections wall, all beautiful guns you can't shoot.

Well, at least you know what a class 3 weapon is! And, yes, this video is really a demonstration for a local Police Department. All weapons you see here are post ban, class 3, dealer sample guns. All persons (except for the dealer) is a Police Officer. The other video of the Tommy gun is a pre-ban, transferable weapon.

there is also an ingram or mac-10 in that vid, and i think the heavy weapon towards the end was an M-60 and i think i saw an AK74.....different round on that weapon than the 47..and yes i agree i think those were M4 with heavy barrels and add ons....its great to be an American and be able to own this stuff.
