I found this game used at GameStop for $7.99. Pick it up! Very fun gameplay. The story is nothing amazing but they usually aren't with Capcom action games anyway. So don't hold that against it. Even if you only do 1 play through you'll feel like you got more than your money's worth. I cannot stress enough how satisfied I'am with this purchase.

I've never understood ppl's beef with in game advertisements. As long as they're portrayed realistically (ie on a boss lol) what's the problem. It actually helped the immersion in Spiderman (PS1); especially the THPS add on a TV lol.

The one thing that really annoyed me about this game is the frequent and long load times. I can't think of anything worse that takes you out of the gaming experience. same goes for one of Capcom's games Left for dead rising 2. The advertisments weren't a big deal, it kidn of made me snicker a bit. But after awhiel I was spending more time dodging gun fire, avoiding radiation pits, and keeping rockets from getting shoved up my ass to pay any attention. I don't know how th eadvertisments take you out of the immersion but it was'nt a big deal.

Just finished this. My major gripes with it were lack of checkpoints, confined boundries, unpolished story and the shooting just felt weak - and there is alot of shooting. After the first hour I was hating it, but through perceverence I was getting into it. What changed? I dunno. It wasn't the Pepsi so it may have to do with the locale change from boring destroyed city to bright green foliage and then rain-soaked docks which was more pleasing to my eye. + swinging around never gets old.

NO mention about the boss fights, in my opinion the funnest part of the game.

The 2nd boss had me working and thinking hard for close to two hours to beat it on commando difficulty, and delivered an extremely rewarding feeling upon completion. This game was extremely underrated, I would suggest renting it and playing it yourself if you want to know if it's worth it, the reviews for this game were done lazily.

One of the unsung games on the ps3, sure it's hardly like it isnt linear but has a nice amount of decent gameplay. I found it a fun game and to be honest the difficulty was awesome, games these days are way to easy so having the old you die and lose collectables and go back to the last checkpoint was actually refreshing. Also wth about the advertising? seriously? If anything it localizes the game and makes it more realistic lol.
